Axl doesnt need to collaborate with any other singer. Cool on his own. Let alone Kid Rock who is definitely and will never be om his level.

True, but was Bach?
And I ask that as a lifelong Skid Row fan. From 1989, up to, and including today.

Kid Rock really is an US only phenomenon at this point.
He was never on tour with GN'R, unlike Sebastian. Maybe there's your answer to why Axl sang on Sebastian's album and he sang on Sorry.

You really have to struggle to hear him.
When we first heard word of that one, I was imagining a style trade off a la 'The Garden'.
Which, while I personally thought that was awesome, did have to wonder who other than me was still listening to Skid Row 20 years after they were last relevant.

As Jarmo pointed out before I could. Kid Rock is the pure definition of America and his success is very limited to just that. America. People like to lump him in the rock/rap late 90s era. But there was some great would wide top bands that came out of that time. Two I love. Lincon park and korn. Both bands are huge draws would wide. Kid Rock. Not so much
While Bachs solo career really hasn't set the world on fire. He still puts on a great live show. The other thing you mentioned being a skid row fan, like myself, some people were either not around when they were active. Or forget. But skid row in there prime was a massive band. World wide appeal Huge selling albums and concerts.

Kid Rock is very fan friendly. His tickets are very cost efficient and he has tailgated with fans. When he was the opening act for Bon Jovi at Giants Stadium (Metlife), he had security drive him in a golf cart and drink with fans before the concert began. My cousins were at the show and took pictures with him drinking beer and BBQing. He puts on a very good show as well. I saw him twice in concert. I think he and Axl would be awesome together!

He seems like a nice enough guy, but I think I?d probably prefer Axl remain on his semipermanent vacation from the studio than hear him collaborate with the man responsible for the lyrics, Bawitdaba da bang a dang diggy diggy diggy said the boogy said up jump the boogy (6x).
I still can?t wrap my head around the fact that someone wrote those lyrics, in real life, then had the balls/audacity to sing them out loud, fucking record them, and then charge people money for a copy!
Not only that, but people did, they actually said, hey that song sounds good to me, I gotta have it, think I?ll get in my car or ride my bike down to the local strawberries and willingly hand the man behind the counter $15.99 for that on CD. That?s around the same time I realized there was absolutely no hope for the human race. None.
He actually didn't write those lyrics to the chorus of "Bawitdaba" himself. I didn't know this myself until his interview last week on Stern. But he actually took those lyrics from rapper Busy Bee in a song titled "Making Cash Money". He was called on it and agreed to settle because he admitted it was pretty much a straight up rip off.
The guy is pretty talented and diverse. He goes from rap to rock to country and everything in between. I hear he puts on one hell of a show and I plan on catching him on tour this summer. Can't beat going to a concert for $20.

If you're waiting...don't. Live your life. That's your responsibility not mine. If it were not to happen you won't have missed a thing. If in fact it does you might get something that works for you.

Wow, that?s even more bizarre, ha. Interesting, thanks for posting.
Popular music to me went to shit when bands like Korn, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park blew up.
Probably unfair of me to lump him in with that mess cause as you said he seems to be far more diverse.
I do think he?s got a pretty good voice, and can say I like at least one of his songs. I just revisited "I Hold On" to confirm, holds up.
That is pretty kickass about the ticket prices too. I?ve recently sort of abandoned the arena acts of late, and have been catching the club shows that roll through town, but even those are gonna run about $20.
