Wow i think that second run would've scored if the guy didn't raise his leg as he slid.

Cubs win!

That phrase is absolutely puke inducing - but deserved.

Would have loved to see the Cards at full strength for the post season but that's baseball.

I'm rooting for whomever wins the Dodgers/Mets Series to move on from the NL and have zero preference from the Junior Circuit unless the Cubs somehow advance and I'll be a beer league fan for The Series.

Hell, I may even apply for Canadian citizenship. Wink

Cubs win?  For me, that's absolutely bewildering.  If there's one thing I thought would last forever in this world, it's the Cards beating the Cubs.  Hard to deny, the Cubbies are looking for real this time.

Tough loss for my LetsGos last night, but when Kershaw is on like that, there's not much you can do.  There was an opening in the 8th inning against the bullpen, but they didn't get the hit they needed.

Greinke will be tough to overcome in Game 5, but I feel good having a well-rested deGrom.  Should be a great game.

I just have a feeling the Mets get this game tomorrow. Don't know why.

Should be a great game either way doe...

The Cubs are hoping for the Dodgers.... in a 7 game series where their rotation isn't lined up... I think the Cubs make easy work of them.

Outside of the big two... the Dodgers are not a playoff team.

So unfair that Mattingly gets all that heat in LA.  I don't care what their payroll is, if you win a division title with Justin fucking Turner as your clean-up hitter (who, by the way, has been smoking hot this series), that's beyond impressive.

100 percent Agreed. That lineup is horrible... So much payroll wasted.

MLB announcers are blowing the fans way out of proportion

They don't Serve bottles at the game

They don't serve booze till 11am haha.

Save the children for the regular season.    Who brings new botns to playoffs games

Damn

Go Jays

Canada!!!

No bottles.   Only cans

I guess New York isn't used to seeing fans excited.    Blue collar fans.   Beer drinking fans.

Go Jays

Congrats Bman, the Jays pulled it off despite MLB's best efforts.  That dead/live ball call was just ridiculous.

Gotta take care of Houston, I want no part of Texas in the WS.  Oops, wait that series isn't over?  OK, then take down KC too if they advance.

Thank you!!

And you are right!!!

MLB. Is out to screw the Jays

But just wait

You will slowly start hearing these fox anouncers start talking better about them.  The better they do

However.  They had the Jays written off durring the game.  And it was a pleasure to watch and hear the come back.  Woo hoo

Some real classless fans they have in Toronto. Even the Blue Jay's manager is a complete idiot.

At this point, I hope it's the Kansas City Royals vs. the Los Angeles Dodgers in the World Series.

Yeah, it was a bad showing for the fans. I don't care if they were throwing bottles or pillows onto the field. Completely idiotic and childish move. And ultimately a lack of comprehension for the rules. As bad as the call seemed, they got it right. And yes, it was a little suspect with the ump ruling the ball dead. But there was no way the Jays were making a play at home there. Odor was heads up from the jump and would've scored with ease even if the ump yelled to Donaldson to throw the ball home. It was a flukey, unfortunate play and luckily it didn't decide the series.

As a Patriots fan, I've seen a few Super Bowls decided by flukey plays. It happens, it sucks when you're on the wrong side. But it doesn't warrant the fans acting like a bunch of idiots. Maybe that's what you get from people who only care about baseball every 20 years or so. In their defense though, this type of behavior has and will occur in other cities across the world. It happens.
