Cespedes leaves the game after being hit on the hand. If the Mets lose him there goes there chance of winning a world series.

100 wins and another division title for the Cards, never would've expected it considering all the injuries.

Pretty damn cool. Cool

A little rusty...but not terrible.  Give him a couple innings and I think he'll be right back in the swing. Gave up a couple hits and a run....and had a strike out.  But given they were getting killed when he came in....

I saw a few highlights after Game 2 of the couple dip yesterday, a lil rusty for sure but nicd to see him blowing 95 free and easy and the snap dragon signature breaking ball.

he'll get additional work this weekend vs ATL before the playoffs start next Friday, hopefully all will go well and he'll be a weapon in the post season.

That's what the party was like in Toronto this past weekend when I was there.

The best was.  I was row one.  Directly across from 1st for Saturday's game.   Showed up early for batting practice and too booze.  Who walks right by me.  Chris Artcher    He is within touching distance.    I shout out   "Hey Chris!  How's that arm feel!"  He looks at me with a smile on his face, like he thinks I am a fan.   He is about to talk.   Then I shout out.  "Not so good!"   His smile turns upside down and he says " actually it feels real good". Hahahaha

The whole time he was pitching.   Every chance I got.  As he was just right there.  I would scream out.  Hey Chris!   How's that arm feel!     Pause pause pause pause.    Not so good!!!

Hahahhahahahahahahah.   I was totally in his kitchen

Yeah, the velocity was there, you could see the tools and breaking ball working (good spin and snap).  It was just a location thing, and maybe a bit of fatigue, late in the inning.

Get him a few more "real" innings (because there's no way bullpen innings are the same), and I think you're about to shorten the game by an inning at the start, and, if you make it deep, 2 innings.  And that's with a good setup guy and closer, already.  That's a pretty potent "secret weapon".
