That final at-bat was awesome.

If, by awesome, you mean near heart attack inducing for both fan bases then yes, yes it was....

I missed the home run, live. Sad. Friend showed up to pick up some hand me downs that our kids has outgrown. We were all chatting, and i was helping to lug the stuff to her car. Came back in...4-3. Wtf?

I was at the Met game following on my phone. When I saw the scoreboard change I did a double take !

Citi field is great , it was a beautiful night spent a couple hours at Mcfaddens which was hopping and the food and overall experience at Citi is top notch, didn't even go to our seats just hung out and watched the game on the Shea Bridge.

Well, the yanks will leave toronto in first....

Tanaka was filthy today. He had one inning where he looked mortal, and loss the strike zone. But today he looked every bit an ace.

Yanks go for the sweep tomorrow. Big spot for severino.

Yep he apparently gave up 10 runs in 3 innings. His worst outing since 2006.

That is why they play the games, as Chris Berman would say. That game looked like a complete mismatch on paper, but the Sox bats have come to life the last few games. Two straight with more than 15 runs. And MAYBE Jackie Bradley Jr is starting to figure out how to hit at the major league level. He has raised his average from .102 on 8/5 to .250 to start the day. Just a monster day yesterday with 2 homers, 3 doubles, 5 runs, and 7 RBI.

They obviously can't keep this up, but it's been fun to see for a few games at least.

Nice bounce back series for the Yankees. Toronto had a chance to put some distance between themselves in the standings, but the Yanks had other plans. Should be a fun race down the stretch.

Bacon... you guys gunna let us win at least one this time?

I have a feeling the Yankees may faker 2/3 of the games this series

I sure know my jays

I don't like tulo in the number one spot.  I would like to see him 5th

Put revere as the lead off guy

Jays go on a bit of a road trip starting Tuesday against the Phillies.   Jays should win both games against the Phillies and hopefully the series against the Angels

Interleague exhibition baseball doesn't count in the standings Bacon, sorry man - they're just for fun!

Oh, wait...

Can't help it, still angry by Cards gifting one to the Marlins and the Letsgo's lost weekend to the Redbird's division rival Pirates. rant

Ouch.  Proof that the world is cruel and unfair.

Very disgusted with the Bucs series.  3 very good performances by our starting pitchers and not 1 win.  Ridiculous.
