Rothchild should've slapped the fuck out of Girardi for leaving Nova in with Warren ready right after he walked Encarnacion on 4 straight pitches! WTF was he thinking! You got a bit of revenge for the Tex homer today that you thought wasn't a homer. That 2-1 pitch to Bautista was a strike. He more then went half way around.

I was the same way in '95 and '96 when the Yankees were turning the corner after they had a bad stretch, couldn't help but pull for them and it didn't hurt that they were loaded with ex-Mets (Cone, Gooden, Strawberry).  That didn't last too long though!

Jays made a statement this weekend. The race is on. Still a lot of games to be played though. Lots can happen. But you certainly have to like the way Toronto has been playing of late.
