Jays will add another pitcher and left field today. Close on both deals
Looks like that's what they're after: Curasco and another OF bat.
just saw on Twitter that Jays were no longer in on Carrasco. Moved focus to Gallardo.

SOOO much conflicting info out there, sometimes from the SAME GUY!
Ex: Rosenthal tweeted about 20 min ago that Yanks were going the hardest after Kimbrel.
15 min later, he tweeted that Yanks talks for Kimbrel broke down yesterday, and haven't revived, yet, today.

Bartolo Colon and Michael Cuddyer for Jose Bautista? Sounds good to me!

True. Just look at the Mets trade that was announced and didn't happen. Things are kept under wraps for a reason. Everyone wants to be first to report though.

DeRosa, from Indians to Cards, for Perez.
Royals say they are done.
Travis, for the Jays, headed to DL, which is fueling their search/desperation for a new bat.
Padres trying to attach Gyorko contract to Kimbrel (or any pitcher) trade.

More likely you get Cespedes..though I think Mets are looking at other options, too. They seem convinced they're gonna get a bat, today. They got 2 hours and 45 min.

Jays trying to get Lowe from Mariners
That deal is done: Lowe to Jays, from Mariners, for 3 minor leaguers.

I saw Lowe last weekend in person for three games. He pitched in each on and looked sharp
Couple hours to go. I expect a few more deals

Yanks appear to be out on Kimbrel...been told unless Mateo is part of deal, Padres not interested.
They think Padres working on larger deal that includes Kimbrel.
Padres seem to want Mateo AND another arm AND for Yanks to take on full contracts.

I'm REALLY thinking Cash is going to stand pat and the Yanks will do nothing at the deadline. Bring up Severino to fill Pineada's slot, let CC keep being terrible, and see what they can do.
With the upgrades by the O's and Jays, I don't think that's going to work so well for them.

Jays get Revere. Not sure for what (minor leaguers, it seems like).
Jays have, if you're counting, turned over 20% of their roster in 72 hours.
With that move...I think that pretty much assures the Jays "win" the trade deadline.

See my edit:
With that trade, they "win" the deadline this year.
2 bats (who can defend, too), 2 relievers, and one ace starter

As I suspected yesterday, Yanks DFA Garett Jones..who MUST have screwed someone very close to Cashman...to make room for Ackley.

Revere will be a perfect lead off man for that jays. Then we can move tulo down the line up a bit. Geese
Revere
Donaldson
Batista
Ee
Tulo
That's a very strong top 5 Possibly the best in ball
Then bottom 4
Martin
Pillar
Copabella/smoak/velencia
Gonnes.
Not to bad there either
