1/2 a game baby
 1/2 a game!

I think the jays are still in the Yankees kitchen.

The past series was it.   Same thing happened to the twins

The other teams would rather watch the jays and be fans.  Than have to play them

Plus the Yankees stink!

Go jays!

I will be very very very funny about the BlueJays if they don't win this division...  Cheesy

It's on the list of shows I have to watch

True detective better rebound with season 3

Hell on wheels should be starting up again soon. That's TV gold

I watched this show the other night....

It was about these Indians kicking the crap out of some some Yankees.    It was a little to long of a show for my liking   But I give it. A sold 8/10

Hahaha!

Go jays!

I think we can safely assume the jays are gonna win again, tonight, given the current score.

I liked the old Jays teams from the 80s.  George Bell, Tony Fernandez, Dave Steib... would have loved to have seen them lose to the Mets (or beat the Cards) in a World Series back then.

Falc, who's team MVP for the Cards so far (other than the scouting hackers)?  Looking at the lineup, roster, staff... there are no holes anywhere.

I 80s jays fan as well.  Shame some of those teams never made it to the World Series.   That's baseball for you.   Even with the wild card.  It's still the toughest championship to win

Tough to say although Matt Carpenter would probably be my pick if forced to decide.

Beyond him, it's the whole pitching staff (and Yadi) - dominant starters and lock down relief.

Wainwright gone, Holliday gone, Adams gone, Walden gone... who would have thought they'd be 33 over .500 - not me that's for sure.

Lotsa baseball left though, the Pirates are really good and the Cubs are on a roll.

EDIT: Here's a metric-centric article from Grantland that goes deep into the Cards reason(s) for success thus far:

Gotta disagree with you. The Stanley Cup imo is the toughest to win.

Too many teams have a chance to win the cup.  While the tournament is the longest   The regular season really doesn't mean anything.  Cause tons of teams make the playoffs.   For that reason I would say it's not the hardest

Nothing better than a penant race in baseball

You really don't see this drama in year end hockey.

It could also be because I live in Edmonton.  And the oilers haven't made the playoffs in 10 years hahaha

Another win for the jays!

Really hope they keep the momentum going forward to this Yankees series tomorrow.  We could seriously but some distance between us and those evil Yankees!!!

That's what makes it so hard though. You have to go through 4 teams and beat each 4 times out of 7. In baseball you only need 4 wins twice. 3 once and one other if you're a wild card. The Stanley cup playoffs have plenty of drama. You are guaranteed to see many overtime games each round.
