Keep the hammer down on 'em, this one won't end 4-0 with the wind blowing out.

Great game from the Jays.

Hope the bats come to life in KC

Price should be able to hold off the offence of KC for 7 innings.

All will come down to the Jays bats.  And how good kcs pitcher will be.  Which I think he will stink

Go Jays

Congrats, George!  Though I'm sure you're not going to see this for a bit, as it was a late night (with some "after partying", I'm sure!).

Thanks a lot guys!  I'm just floored, I know 'ya gotta believe' and all, but I just cannot believe the NY Mets are in the World Series.  I feel a bit foolish about never believing this team was good enough to get this far, but they have proven me very wrong.  I know the pitching has been great, but it's been great all year yet they had little to show for it well into the season.  But since the trade deadline, this team has been transformed.  Not just the acquisitions have made an impact, but calling up Conforto, getting Wright back from injury, d'Arnaud turning into an elite offensive catcher, and Daniel Murphy turning into a total freaking alien.  I hope they keep this going, but I'll take a few days to enjoy this.  LGM!   beer

Mattingly is out as Dodgers mgr. Mutual agreement, sounds like it's more Mattingly's decision though.

Good for him. They put together a really bad team outside of the 2 big guns and blame him for not winning.

Ownership and management has been horrible. Someone needs to force out Johnson and make his sell his part of ownership.

Time to get rid of Puig as well. Get rid of those two now!

Mutual thing on the Dodgers, they're are now a linear organization with Friedman and company at the helm.

Sometimes it's just not a fit and it was time to go separate ways.

Regardless of who wins the AL...

I think they are in trouble...

They simply can't match up with these pitchers...

Their pitching has been great obviously, but I've been more impressed with the way their offense has hit Kershaw, Greinke, Lester, and Arrieta. I don't think the Jays or Royals have starting pitchers that good, unless Price gets it going. Cueto had one great game.

But both the Royals and Jays can score runs and the Royals have a great bullpen. If they can get 5 effective innings from their starters they'd be in good shape. Also, the Mets were taken to a 5th game against the Dodgers. They played a dominant series in the NLCS, but another series awaits. I certainly think they'll be the favorites, but I wouldn't hand them the trophy just yet.

I think either match up fine against the Mets, especially the Royals.

Not saying either will be favored (or win for that matter) but I don't see any kind of cake walk either way.

You know if the Mets score three runs a game... i just don't see how that doesn't win... particularly against the Royals. The jays are obviously a little bit more explosive.
