Sure they do, GNR is a great band, and Jane's Addiction is a shitty one.  hihi

This hardly seems like a fair fight.

Ask someone to name you a third Jane's Addiction song.

I'm guessing you mean Jane Says and Caught Stealing as their big 2.  Those were played regularly on modern rock radio in the early 90s.  But so were Stop and Mountain Song, which was also used in a Coors commercial.  In any case, agree they should go down hard to Guns in this vote, but, still, I loved their first 3 albums.

Jane's Addiction being mentioned in the same breath of Guns N Roses is a joke.

This may be unheard of on a Gnr board but Jane's in their prime (talkin' 87-88) was almost as good as Gnr in my opinion. Different styles but both rocked. Gnr became way more popular due to their huge singles with Jungle, SCOM, PC, Patience, and November Rain. However, I think Nothing's Shocking can go toe to toe with Afd...again, just the singles separate them in my opinion.

Jane's first record (XXX)was a live release in '87 and is sort of like Live Like A Suicide/Lies with some great originals and covers.

Nothing's Shocking was released in 1988 and is there first full studio album.

That being said, I voted Gnr overall.  hihi
