I never understood how Amazon allows bootlegs to be sold so openly.

I'm hardly anti-bootleg.  I have literally hundreds of them.  But no ones I bought so openly.

On Amazon I have seen the 1988 Ritz show, the 1992 Chicago show, and others.  Not official releases.

Yeah, several online retailers openly list bootleg DVDs nowadays.

There's all kinds of versions from the same shows.

I'm surprised the artists stand for it.

I don't think they really care if we share bootlegs with other fans, because no one is getting paid.  But with this, someone is.  And it ain't the band.

Well,bootlegs are a part of the rock culture.Every fan is after them,especially in the old days.Bands are aware of them,managements,companies too.
At least nowdays bootlegs have excellent quality.Back in the 90's i paid many a euros for shitty sounding recordings...

Yeah,I wish both Athens shows would exist with the best quality available but still.
We are blessed to follow one of the most bootlegged band,there are hundreds proshot and soundboard recordings to enjoy  beer

That's a nice display! Big yellow letters: "Guns, original members legendary live (performances)". Looks like the new AFDemocracy blue ray runs about 35 bucks at Tower Records in Japan.
