If it happened in VEGAS, then it wouldn't be Rock in RIO.

Sorry, somebody had to be the wise ass.   hihi

Not really all that funny since they already did Lisbon...

I guess Metallica, Linkin Park and No Doubt have been announced so far.

How many of those are headliners?

Fingers crossed! Would love to do another May trip to Vegas to see GN'R. I suppose the organisers may feel it's a bit overkill as they have recently done two residency's but here's hoping they are on the bill!

Good for them. And yet I assume their fans would love if that band played as many shows in the USA as GN'R has in recent years.....  rofl

I rather them not actually, as after doing residencies at the Joint, I feel like that it would be a step backwards actually. Far better experience at the Joint!

I don't follow your logic on that one. If you don't like the idea of a big festival don't go...but I'm not sure headlining a massive event like this could be described as a step backwards.

I think it would be awesome to see Guns and Metallica back together again.
Throw in Quiet Riot or Faith No More, and I'm there!  smoking

I should clarify I guess, it would be great for sure, and alot of fun, hell if I could I'd probably go if GNR are somehow put on the bill, my preference is the smaller venue as the Joint for various reasons , no constraints on time , superior sound , and an overall GNR vibe throughout. GNR and Metallica wouldn't be playing the same night. But if they are asked and choose to, for sure, the only step back is the time constraint, and sound quality(and that is not to say that it would sound "bad", for sure not, but you will in no way get the controlled climate and control of the sound like you would in The Joint.

Would you trade circumstances with their fanbase for the last 20 years?
