You sort of wonder about people. Individuals that give themselves aliases obviously have come from a place where they have to create an identity seperate to their own self. Maybe when you form a band, stick to people called Tommy or Richard or Frank. Avoid your Jumblebeans and your Flashmans.

I was meaning that if GN'R were to hire a new guitarist at this stage, it could be an idea to hire a journeyman guitarist rather than one who carries an image and a brand name. Just a thought really

No "excuses" needed, there are no rules which determine the frequency of which an Artist releases music, if there are complications which delay things, no "excuses" are needed either.

Only people that think "excuses" are somehow needed have misguided entitlement issues.

If another long window passes, again, where nothing gets accomplished, again, they'll have to say something when they are asked about it as they gear up for their 'Destructive Lies & Illusions' residency.

There are a number of ways that might go, and who knows what the eventual spin will be, but I think we can strongly rule out "we just couldn't get our shit together" will be one of them.  I think it far more likely something like "personnel upheaval" and "lack of certain individuals commitment" are uttered first.

I think when we eventually do get something new, Axl will be candid about just not being motivated to deal with the bullshit that goes along with releasing a record.

He last toured with GN?R in 2014; now, he wants to do his own music. In fact, Bumblefoot?s visit to India ? he performed at the opening of Classic Rock Coffee Co in Pune on Saturday ? comes as part of his new outfit called Art of Anarchy, a band he formed in 2011 with twin brothers Jon and Vince Votta.

Will there be a GN?R reunion for him in future? Bumblefoot shakes his head firmly. He still wants to make his own music. ?Probably that kid in me is still alive who questions why I came into this. As time went on and I got face to face with death (he was diagnosed with tumour and, in another escape, was involved in a car accident), it reminded me that my time on earth is limited. I don?t want to leave without doing what I want to. So, now I am concentrating more on my solo work and my album with Art of Anarchy, which will be out next month. My charity work has also become a priority now,?
