And there you'd be pointing out how he's talking about he past instead of promoting the present and how it upsets you.  rofl

Most people with this one sided view of Axl wants him to talk, but does anybody really think they'd like what they would hear?

I agree... I don't necessarily want him talking ha

A lot of what he says... honestly pisses me off or I can't possibly fathom...When he stated that Slash wanted to tour and play music to get the better of him.... That makes absolutely no sense in any way (Maybe Slash and all the others just wanted to play music and get paid for it? ) ...but I am not in his world, and he's entitled to his own opinion like the rest of us.

But I would appreciate some more open communication from him directly in regards to GNR's future. Which was why his Golden Gods interview was so promising.

It gives him a chance to correct the record if he feels it need be.  So, yes.

Its not so much about think Axl is going to whisper sweet nothings in our ears.  its about not having to hear 5 years later how you are pissed about something or other than got said and you didn't lift a finger, despite how allegedly upset you were over it.

Axl spent an absurd amount of time in those chats talking about things Slash said...4 years prior.  I'd point out that was not a constructive use of his time, but that's a touchy subject this week.

Maybe by talking about it, there were less questions to sort through relating to that subject? Nah. Not possible.
Your idea of constructive is something that benefits you.

And we know damn well that if somebody had said: ONLY QUESTIONS ABOUT THE PRESENT, you'd be bashing them for censorship and avoiding topics for the last six plus years.

My idea of constructive is not spending 10 years of your life on an album and then coming to promote it only to spend such a ridiculous amount of time on a guy out of the band 12 years.  Who ain't ever, ever, ever coming back.

That's my definition of constructive.  If you have a question, just ask.  Your guessing abilities suck, guy.

Part of it was not his fault, because idiots kept asking Slash questions.  I wanted to bang my head against the screen.

But, in truth, this was his first communication with his fans about it in 12 years since it went down, and 4 years since his book.  This was their first crack at "getting to the bottom of it".

Personally, I would have preferred he said he wanted to talk about his new band.  About his new album.  But to be honest, didn't seem lik you really had to twist his arm to get him talking about past greivances.

The answers from those chats about Slash are paragraphs.  The answers about his then new album were one line.

Yes, and the one about Alan Niven booking the 1991 tour to purposely destroy Axl is a good one. There is also the one about Slash stealing, was it twelve years, of Axl's life? When Axl speaks it is usually gibberish anyhow.

I wish they didn't break up, but shit happens.

I don't get offended by some of his over the top rhetoric like some do, but I do think it makes him look horrible.  There are plenty of ways to say "fuck that guy" without having to call him "a cancer best removed."

The cancer one gets all the play, but I think its the one where he says one of them will be dead in a coffin before they speak to each other again that makes him look truly around the bend.  My lord.

The only one who has one sided vision of Axl here it?s YOU  The rest of us, when we see that Axl does something  it?s right  we say so and good for him.

But when he does something wrong. Well, we just point that out too. Or sometime it?s not something wrong. But we think he could do it better  or he could the same thing in a different way. We behave the same way with other members and ex members

Yep.

There are 2 answers :

- Axl was right

- its none of your business / I won't speculate

The latter is avoidance of say publically something got cocked up or wasn't a great idea.

Because one day, when The Rapture comes, all the people from whom never was heard a discouraging word will be saved.

And the rest of us won't.

The usual: Oh no, I can't keep discussion this, I gotta attack the person.

I offer a possible reason for things. Things that make sense to me. Some of you don't like it. If you didn't read it, it didn't happen. If you read it, it's always true if it's negative.

Some like to go on and on about things they don't like. I don't waste my time with that. It happened, for a reason, or reasons. Those reasons never matter to some. What's important is that it happened and they don't like it. So they keep going on about it. For years.
Interested in discussions. Right...

Same old, same old.

My answer was very clear but I say it again. Duff was in good terms with Axl when he wrote his book. The day he told Axl he was leaving the band they just shook hands. Not a Word of sadness from Axl. Duff would?ve written it. He wrote all the other nice things Axl said to him after all.

Speaking of Duff it was YOU who locked the thread about him joining the band last year. We were happy about it. We wanted it to happen. But I didn?t see that reaction from you at that time.

So your answer for Duff thanking Axl in that way is because they were on good terms?
Oh my. How come he didn't use the F word for any other former GN'R band members?

You still go on about what you read and what wasn't in the book. Are you saying that everything Duff did is in that book? If he doesn't wrote about a show in the book, it didn't happen to him? He wasn't there? Do you know how absurd your way of thinking is? Maybe he didn't put all the details in his book because it's between him and another person, not for the whole world to know about?

Also, are you aware that books are edited? Not every word written ends up in the finished book.....

So many things come to mind, but not for you.

Be very careful what you accuse others of when you know nothing about it.

For the record, there's moderators who can lock threads here.

Are you saying the editors edited that part in particular but not the other nice things Axl did and said? Please!!! Of course Duff is not going to writer about the whole conversation. But if Axl would?ve said "good luck, call me any time. If you changed your mind I welcome you back".  Then yes I?m 100% sure that Duff and the editors would?ve printed those words.

And even if you didn?t lock that thread you didn?t rush to open it nor you told your moderators to open it. So it makes no difference

So according to the book, they went to dinner and shook hands and that was it.
That sounds like a fast dinner! Why didn't he mention the restaurant? The scene there? What did they order? Was he happy with the food? They just shook hands and no other words were uttered?

Your grasping at straws and you know it.

I'm sorry you're disappointed that there were not enough details of their dinner in the book. But he also doesn't tell us what exactly was said at the dinner in 2010. So, another mute dinner?

And even if you didn´t lock that thread you didn´t rush to open it nor you told your moderators to open it. So it makes no difference

I wasn't expecting an apology from you. But you're just digging your hole of ignorance deeper and deeper.

MAYBE I WASN'T HERE SO I DID NOT KNOW!

You don't like me and I couldn't care less. But if you're gonna come here and accuse me of shit and lie, you better back it up.
