I'm certainly not complaining about seeing Duff on stage in Guns N Roses....thats where he belongs imo

but why does nobody seem to care about why the guy who is the current bass player was nowhere to be found the other night?

is the guy having some personal problems or something?

If he was having a personal or family issue, it wouldn't be the first time he missed a show because of that.  It happens, unfortunately.

It's possible. I don't know yet. It depends on scheduling, or what shows Tommy [Stinson] wants to do with the Replacements and stuff like that. And you know, almost everybody in the band has some kind of issue going on, personally. There's people who have lost family members. Other people are dealing with separations. Sometimes court gets in the way. Real life!

I really enjoyed seeing Duff play the CD songs. He played them with a lot of energy but how does someone not get fired up to play Chinese Democracy !!!!

Yep, I feel the same way.  I love Duff, but damn, either tell Tommy thanks and send him on his way, or don't invite Duff.  One or two times was one thing, but he has played more shows with GNR in 2014 than Tommy has.  This makes Tommy seem really "Replaceable".. Poor guy.  He has given a lot to GNR.  Axl is having his cake and eating it too.

Wow, thank you! I thought it was just me. I really used to enjoy the new arrangement with Robin playing in it [SEE: Boston 2002 - fucking great stuff]. Now it's just wanking for the sake of wanking. It doesn't suit the song... even a little bit. And what he's playing there just isn't that good.
