Ron saying goodbye to SA tour or... GNR?

Thank you [
]
[Begin ramblings...]
I'm a communicator. That's what musician's do, they share themselves, it feels 'unnatural' if I don't. Sometimes musically, sometimes verbally, sometimes through a song, sometimes through a tweet...
The GNR S. American tour has one show left. I haven't always been the best version of myself, on & off stage, hinges on certain situations that just crush me and I can't get past, and I know it shows... I'm human, a reasonably empathetic one (sometimes a pathetic one, lol.)
But YOU - the friends, fans, audience at the shows, have always been the absolute best. Thank you so much for being you, so passionate, so full of spirit [
] I want the best for you, you deserve it [
] Obrigado & gracias, was so good to see you all [
] Some for the first time, some for the XXth time, at the shows & workshops - hopefully we can share these beautiful experiences again soon [
]
And a huge thanks to the amazing crew for building the planet the band gets to crawl around the surface of, you guys are magic...! Thanks to the bandmates for givin' it all ya got! [
] To the promoters & folks that brought us here and make these shows happen, you're an amazing team and it's been such a pleasure [
] Same for the workshops, happy call you all my friends [
] 'Til next time... [
]
With love & appreciation, and lots of hugs...
Ron

My first impression is that it just sounds like the SA Tour he is referring to.

I personally don't care. Like I said I'm not a fan of his public expressing of his unhappiness. I'm just more along the lines of if you're unhappy with your situation, stop complaining and change it. Dont get me wrong, if he's unhappy playing and wants a change, no one would blame him, but just stop complaining ....
But my take was it was towards the SA tour ending ....

He is not "unhappy", he just wanted to say "Thank You" to his fans

I don't think this was him expressing unhappiness, but he's done so in the past. It's nice to write good bye to the fans, it seemed like they were off the hook during this current run !

Either way, I'd like to say thanks to all of a Guns N' Roses past and present, the music you have all provided kicks ass. Until next time.

Isn't it obvious? This is just Ron's way of announcing that his solo for the next leg of the tour is going to be The Beatles

I just take it that he's thanking everyone at the end of the Sth American tour, nothing there about being unhappy or planning to leave. He's expressed his displeasure at certain things in the past but this reads just a thanks to everyone for everything.
I like Ron & do think if he left the band at any time it would be a huge loss. He is the most approachable, funniest & interacts both on and off stage with the fans so well. Next to Axl who's been around for ages he is the most popular I would imagine due to his personality & friendliness. Lets hope he doesn't leave until his beard has grown so long he can wind it around his entire body.

There seems to be a push to twist this actually nice letter to the fans into something negative. I have no idea why that is. It was great of Ron to post something like this and I took it as a positive. He thanks the fans and his band mates. He even says "Til next time"
I fully expect to see him in Vegas (well, not me personally as I won't be there, but I expect he will be) and I also fully expect him to continue being pretty open in his communication, positive or negative.
Why people are questioning this post, though...

The guy does give off a sense of not being fully comfortable - not just in this missive - but in past comments too
It may just frustrate him that CD came out years ago and not one new, creative piece of original music has been put forth since - I suppose it would frustrate any creative artist..but like someone earlier said - shit or get off the pot - I'm sure he's seen more $$ in the past few years than he ever thought he would see in his whole life...so it's got to be a hell of a paradox
Hope he's just saying goodbye and thanks to this particular tour - because it's an honor having a talent like this in the band

I think that he's saying "goodbye" do the SA tour too, but with all those unhappy posts that Ron wrote that we all know (the last was "67 days and counting....."), don't blame me for thinking it wrong for a second

Why you ask? Perhaps the fan base has embraced Ron and this lineup. Ron's message is a bit cryptic.. I'm guessing it's just an acknowledgement on an end to this leg of the tour..

Yeah, he fosters some of this sentiment, let's be honest here.
