Waited for Axl to show up on stage, May 31st 2006, in Budapest Hungary. More than 3 hours worth of wait...I think he broke some record there, I was ready to wait about2 hours, 3 hours were a bit surprising...

Was a good show anyways, although a bit short.

Gave Axl a rest as I helped sing heavens door at hammersmith in 2006. I never get bored mentioning that. smoking
That is the best thing I have heard all day!!

For me...Waited in line for many hours alone to get concert tickets three different mornings in 2002.  Waited almost 4 hours each time and all shows were cancelled.  In the weeks after the riot some people laughed at me like Nelson from The Simpsons..HA-HAA!!  "I told you so" they always said.

At that point I gave up on seeing the band until 2008 or so when I felt like things were getting a lot better and I believed it could be possible.  I never gave up on the actual band...just had given up on seeing them live.  So I guess to answer the question the biggest thing I've done is not given up!

I had my MBA school graduation on 5/12/06.  I was considering skipping my graduation to go to the Hammerstein show, but my dad had already paid money to fly down and see the graduation and stay the weekend.  Luckily we had booked a flight going back to NJ early on 5/14/06.  I got home, said hello to my mom for a few minutes and took NJ Transit into the city.  I slept on my friend's couch for 3 nights and saw the remaining 3 Hammerstein shows which I forgot to mention to him I was doing.

I also had a job interview on that Monday 5/15/06 morning...... and I ended up getting the job  ok

Been their fan, bought their music and went to see them play.  What should we have done for them?  Dumb thread.

I continue to follow and post on a message board, inflating the idea that the general public still cares about all this.

In 2012 the Band came for one show in Israel and the Promoter did very poor job with promoting the show on Radio, TV etc...
5 days before the show they asked me to Interview me as "the biggest Fan of GNR in Israel" to sell I guess more tickets.
2 guys from the biggest News Channel came to my home and did an Interview with me so I had to clean my "GNR TEMPLE" Room and I was very sick that moment and could barely speak cause I lost my voice for 2 days.
the Interview took more than a hour and I just told good things and the way I see the Band and how much I love the new lineup vs the old one that most of the people know from the 80's and 90's.

that Interview is somewhere in the net I guess, maybe I'll find it later and you can see the whole crazy temple with rare items.
If I was the Guy that managing the GNR show in Israel , I'm sure it was a lot more than 15,000 people in our country.
I'm doing anything I can in those 23 years being a GNR fan and trying to promote the Bands name and everything that connect to the Band.

Flew to Lisboa to see GNR play for Rock In Rio in 2004 only for them to cancel.
Met some cool HTGH members (can't remeber who - Kikki was one of them I remenber) in the hard rock, got blind watching an awesome GNR cover band.
The Foo fighters played instead which was cool anyway. Dave Grohl did a parody of axl and thanked him for pulling out.

Slept in front of a garbage can from noon- 8pm to assure I was the first 1 in the door in Atlantic City in 2010 only to find out about 150 people who showed up right before the doors opened had a separate pass the line that for some reason I didn't know about until it was too late. I've also educated countless unaware Gnr Fans that they do indeed still exist (without Slash) & they have played hundreds & hundreds of kick- ass shows in since 2006 mostly which Axl not
only shows up for & sounds awesome but actually comes out pretty on time & they released a new album in 2008!  confused

Nothing on the level of others, but went to Vegas during Thanksgiving weekend 2012 to catch the last residency show. It's only appropriate that GNR received the honors of being my first concert out of state!

Heh, giving away my copy of Chinese Democracy to every douche-bag who told me that album sucks because he/she heard it from someone else without even listening through the album and deciding for themselves.
Leaves me buying a fresh copy every time though, yet the feelgood moment is priceless ;-) "Here you go, decide for yourself!"

I dissolved several bodies in plastic barrels and hid them in the desert.

I mean, I bought multiple copies of every album ...
