I've never signed up on mygnr, but I occasionally check it out...no matter what the subject is, every single thread turns into a Dj Ashba bashing thread...and as a HUGE Ashba fan that forum is extremely frustrating. I think it's funny with Dj because other than Axl I think he has the most fans out of anybody in the band, but he also has the most haters. All I know is that when you're leaving the arena after a show all you hear people talking about is how awesome Axl still is and how awesome Dj Ashba was...but mygnr has a serious hate on for Dj.
The same members that said Robin couldn't play guitar ( rofl)

3 songs?:
1. Oh my God (reworked) - been rehearsed in 2011 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Fy2zjfhxU0 and seen on supposed setlists http://31.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_me5q06Jnqo1qb2xmpo1_500.png
2. Silkworms (reworked) - someone asked Axl after a gig this year about Silkworms and apparently he said "Actually we are thinking about releasing that later this year"(2013)
3.  Huh

Suddenly, all the talk of "did Slash and Duff lie" is meaningless.  Time to focus on the now.  Obviously, there's a decent amount of skepticism, but this is great news.  2014:  Year of the guns!

More touring? *yawn*, but 2 or 3 new songs is awesome news as long as they're not covers!

Jarmo will know the hot diggety and can judge appropriately

There is no harm, and it has brought forth traffic, and interest, to other forums too (if something is happening).

If you think that people making a big deal out of having an 'exclusive' about a tour happening next year isn't ridiculous, you're  a funny funny man.

I'm sure it's not the touring part that people are getting excited about. I'd say it's the 3 new songs and the other things that haven't been mentioned yet. I for one love it when they tour and I hope the return to vegas Means another residency...that would be awesome!!!

I for one am all for surprises regarding new songs, new setlist songs (songs that haven't been played in a while or ever), special guests, new merch, new albums/boxsets.  As for concerts please announce them in advance to the degree possible.  Have desire, will travel, but the cheaper the better!

I see that their latest fb update says '2014 is going to be f'n' crazy':

https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?fbid=10152052563873069&set=a.355783028068.156550.10901008068&type=1&theater

Hope that means that they really do have big plans for next year, and this isn't just the Guns camp's Brazilian contingent getting all excited about the World Cup. And if they are planning something, let's pray that intention turns into action

That's why BBfoot made those comments. GN'R's schedule bumped on his solo stuff.

You have bigger worries, I met Delia Smith at a(n) Xmas party last year and she is wanting to have words with Axl, not sure what about, but keep an eye out there if she comes to a stage near you. She knows who you are, so she must have read the forum at some point

The three songs would be:
Silkworms - sounds much better on studio version, Axl uses his Down on the farm style vocals
Oh My God - same vocal track as the 1999 version but with new guitar
Going Down - probably Axl higher in the mix on the release

No GNR tour is meaningless. It's a great time anytime. I hope for another Vegas residency as it was killer the first time around. I would LOVE some NEW songs too. Maybe a couple of old Illusions songs as well that haven't been done. Whatever it is I will be there.

If GNR just made TWAT a regular on the next tour that would be enough for me  peace

I'm always optimistic, and hopefully 2014 leads to more killer shows and a new album !

I think they should do a world tour to hand back all the bra's, panties & lingere we've thrown during the concerts.  rofl  That would keep them busy for a while.
Or maybe a world tour throwing THEIR underwear into the audience to get us all back, now that I would like to see  Wink yes

I think personally the start of next year will start another big push in terms of activity in Guns world. I believe this story as it sounds logical, and Fernando did say that they were looking at South American dates. I think mid-year will see GN'R fully back in touring mode, and you have to think that not releasing an album in 2014 would be utter rediculous with all this activity. And I can see the band maybe debuting 1-3 new songs on the next round of touring.
