there was a really cool Jam that Bumblefoot and Frank started during the tokyo shows, I think it was when they were getting the piano out for Dizzy before street of dreams, Frank is doing the "guns n' roses!!!" chant/drum beat thing...and bumble starts improving over it, and then pitman enters it with some cool synths. it was a cool jam out.

Last show in Toronto:
I was a bit wasted by this point, but I could swear that the band Jamed to the solos of Paradise City right before Richard gets on to the monitor and started the song. I remember thinking  "why aren't the doing the begining of the song.?" I have 30 sec of the intro to PC on my phone but only after Fortus starts the song properly. I may be mistaken but if someone has a better recording or memory they can clarify.

I don't know about the Toronto show but usually they play a jam based around the same chords as paradise city (fits the song just as nicely as the madagascar intro imo). And since you pointed out your were hammered, maybe it got mixed up in your head? Smiley

There was a snipped of some instrumental during the 07 japan shows where Axl told the crowd, that sounds good, should make a song out of that
right before patience.

would love to hear that again! but can't remember which show that was exactly.

I used to really enjoy the instrumental version of I am Beautiful that Robin and Richard used to occasionally bust out. Also in 07 in Australia they did a jam of Angie by the Stones and the whole crowd sang along, it was pretty awesome!!!

I bet I've watched that finck/fortus I Am Beautiful guitar duet/solo about fifty times.   ok

They captured a little bit of that rock n roll magic...for me anyway.  smoking

They did Iron Man by Sabbath at Roskilde in 2006 (day after Rose was let out if jail reg. the Stockholm hotel and security guard incident). Axl couldn't stop laughing. Bumble kept at it. Funny stuff.

Youtube-video or it didn't happen!
