Today?s a good day for Guns N? Roses fans in Quebec and Ontario.  GNR has booked a couple of up-close-and personal gigs in Montreal and Toronto. With the shows set for mid-July, pre-sales and onsales launch this week.

Guns N? Roses will play Montreal?s Metropolis July 14 and the Sound Academy in Toronto July 15.  The dates follow the band?s appearance at Festival D?ete de Quebec in Quebec City on the Plains Of Abraham July 12.

An American Express ?Front Of The Line Tickets? pre-sale begins July 3 and runs for 24 hours.  The Montreal show also has a CHOM and EVENKO presale launching July 4.  General onsales for both shows begin July 5 at 10 a.m. EDT.  Visit GunsNRoses.com for more information.

I'm so desapointed.  This would have been better before the festival of Qu?bec. I would have chosen Montreal with 2,000 peoples instead of the Festival with 100,000 even if Montreal is at 6 hours from my home

Did you miss the shows they just did in NY state? Or the 2012 club shows, or the 2011 shows in that region? Smiley

Quebec City, Montreal or Toronto haven't had a GN'R show since early 2010.

Great that they are having shows here since in my own backyard....love the ucap shows, offers a new experience in comparison to staduim or arena dates, just gutted i won`t be there for ucap in montreal..thats my loss. have fun everybody

very cool for the canada fans! ive been lacking in some GnR live shows so they need to come back to Chicago, I had a blast at their house of blues show when they were here last! maybe if they do come here again we can have a pre show meet up at Headquarters Beercade, they have the GnR pinball there and its free to play (like all the games there) no cover charge either.

Pretty cool how Guns are making stops in Canada. But it's abit odd to do just 3 club shows there within 2 weeks notice. Wonder if this is a sign of things to come?, Guns playing smaller intimate shows, and scheduling them as they please within a short time frame?. I went to the 2010 Air Canada Show in Toronto and it was a fantastic show, great for Canadian fans!!!...

Ah!  Any TO fan club members on the board want to purchase a couple of tickets for me?   Shocked  I can meet up downtown anytime before the show to exchange.

Otherwise, I'll have to have a go at the the LiveNation sale on Friday!

Seems a little odd to play these small shows after the festival, no?  Very cool though!  Hopefully they throw in a full-blown ACC show as well!

Not necessarily.

Logistics might have part in it. For example, if all the gear is already on its way to Quebec, it makes little sense to book a show somewhere else before that...

I guess that's possible, didn't occur to me how close these shows really are.  Speaking of gear, for anyone that's been to a smaller show - how much more stripped down is it in terms of stage setup / lighting / video screens etc.?  Do they drop all pyrotechnics & even the usual confetti during Paradise City?

Anyways - I'm in!  Got tickets via the Amex presale... so awesome that it's less than a couple of weeks away.  I'm seriously pumped up after that great performance they gave at Governors.
