All That Remains singer Phil Labonte peers out over the AT&T Center crowd during the 2009 Mayhem Fest. It will be a similar view for him May 26

South Texans accustomed to spending their Memorial Day weekend rocking out at Rocklahoma now have a huge reason to do the same in their proverbial backyard.

The inaugural River City Rockfest was announced today, with Guns N' Roses and Alice In Chains highlighting the one-day outdoor festival Sunday, May 26 on the AT&T Center parking lot grounds.

Shit, I must be getting old. Barely heard of any of those bands.
I caught AIC opening for Velvet Revolver back in 06 or 07 in Tampa. Was never a big fan, but I can still recognize that the guy who replaced Layne Staley did a really good job.
