I don't think they've ever played the Phillippines and Cuba.

How about New Zealand? That one surprises me since they've played Australia a few times, and it's right there... show the Kiwis some love!

June 30th, 2007 - Auckland, New Zealand @ Vector Arena
July 3rd, 2007 - Christchurch, New Zealand @ Westpac Arena

Those dates were before I started doing the map though... So the band hasn't played in New Zealand since then.

Too bad there's no way the fans can create the demand and interest for GNR to hit up some of the countries. Wonder how they decide on where to tour, the promoters call them, or do GNR management reach out to the promoters?

There's ways for fans to do that. But it still doesn't guarantee a show.

Sometimes it's not possible to fit a certain city, state, country or region into the schedule. There's not enough time to transport the equipment from A to B for a show since show C is so close to those dates... Sometimes it's not a viable option because it costs too much to travel somewhere for one show.

Wonder how they decide on where to tour, the promoters call them, or do GNR management reach out to the promoters?

I believe most bands work with booking agents who are in contact with promoters.

But I suppose sometimes a band or artist has a wish to play somewhere and they'll try to make it happen.

It could've happened on this previous leg of the tour, but if they're going to Australia, I don't see why they couldn't do a stopover in Hawaii, even if it was a UCAP show.
