We're beating Zeppelin, that is just crazy. Not a fan myself but there popularity overwhelm us Gunners.

Only a slightly darker note, winning little competitions like this is only going to persuade the promoters to increase ticket prices the next time GNR Tour due to popularity.  Embarrassed

I don't believe that's the case.

I enjoy reading the comments, from them who doesn't understand how Gn'R could knock out Stones  hihi

Maybe this is a little proof of what the latest year of extensive touring have meant to get Gn'R back in the spotlight?

In reality the stones are a lot more popular- that is just a plain fact. The only thing this poll really shows is which band has the most web support. Having seen the stones last year and in the past, it is quite obvious that their older fan base are not the type to sit hitting 'vote' every hour!

I'm not trying to take anything away from Guns, I'm so pleased they won 'tour of the year' but don't start using a poll like this to kid yourself that they have a bigger fan base than led zeppelin & Rollin Stones. The older generation are not as computer savy.

Objective complete guys, but the mission is not yet over. The way GN'R beat Zeppelin proves that as long as we stay consistent, we can still pull it back even if we fall behind at the start. Lets rally the troops and prepare to take out The Beatles.  Grin

GUNS N? ROSES VS. THE BEATLES ? ULTIMATE CLASSIC ROCK BOWL 2013, ROUND THREE
by Matthew Wilkening

VOTE HERE

The semifinal round of the 2013 Ultimate Classic Rock Bowl kicks off with another battle between generations: one of the most popular bands of the last 25 years, Guns N? Roses, against perhaps the most influential group of all time, the Beatles.

At the start of the month, 16 of rock?s biggest acts began battling each other in a series of single-elimination matches to determine the true champion of the genre; four groups remain. Guns N? Roses earned their spot by defeating two legendary groups ? the Rolling Stones in round one, and Led Zeppelin (54 to 46%) in round two. Meanwhile, the Beatles ousted the Who in their first battle and narrowly edged AC/DC (51 to 49%) last week.

Who will get your vote ? the group who pretty much single-handedly saved rock and roll by wiping hair metal off the map, or the four Liverpool lads that essentially wrote the vocabulary of popular music? You can vote once per hour in each of the semifinal matches from now until Sunday, Jan. 27 at 11:59 PM ET.

The 2013 Ultimate Classic Rock Bowl champ will be announced Feb. 4 ? the day after the Super Bowl.
