Yeah, those of you who frequent social media sites will have seen this all over the place the last few days. I wonder what it exactly is, and when we will get some more information on it?. In any case, I do hope that everything goes according to plan regarding anything to do with this getting to reach the fans.  |

According to this Facebook page it's definitely coming out in 3d and blu-ray! Sounds like it should be released pretty soon!!! Fingers crossed!

I've literally just noticed that now this page has been taken down, seems to be yet another thing that hasn't gone to plan. After the failed London 02 show cinematic release, I honestly never thought it would happen again to this planned release, but oh well... let's just hope again right.  |

I actually didn't think this "3D/ Blu-ray" release would happen, after the London O2 cancellation...and GN'R never mentioned it. I'm not sure if that facebook page was official. It only got me thinking when they uploaded photo's supposedly from the DVD, but there were pictures of Axl from the UCAP tour.

The only explanation I can come up with is that somebody went ahead and created a Facebook page a bit too soon.
Don't promote something when there's no release date confirmed by the band!

I'm hoping for part documentary/part concert film. Maybe they'll still have the O2 footage in it. I'm not expecting to hear anything for at least 6 months on this if they're doing a theatrical release. I'd be surprised if they're doing the entire show, but will be cool to see some of the animation made for Appetite for Democracy on there, and maybe some animation that's being made for it right now.

No, the page got deleted for some reason unknown. There is some speculation that it was fanmade. But I doubt that because there were lots of unseen behind the scenes pictures of the production crew etc etc. Maybe the GNR-crew want ALL promotion for this release to start at the same time. We don't need a repeat of the O2 cinema release. |
