I am not saying another word on that subject.  hihi

It occurs to me, after 3 weeks of Christmas music, we haven't had a new Christmas carol in a long time.  Maybe we can get DJ on that.

Just seems to me that the quickest way to get Beta to yell at a user it to ask about new music Smiley

Well I'll do it!  As much as I love GnR live, I would really love for them to get in the studio and make some music.  As long as they are touring, theres little time to make new music, correct?

I was in Vegas this past weekend and did not attend a show.  Not because I don't like GnR, but because I've seen this show 3 times already in the last year, and 5 other times in past years.  To me, the show is great, buts its essentially the same thing.  Adding Estranged, Civil War, There Was A Time and a couple others have been great, but i would like to see them move on now to a much broader set with SOME old stuff, Chinese, and new music.  Axl can keep touring if he wants, playing the same music, making money, and no doubt doing what he loves....that's his choice.  I'm just saying, new music would be great, and in my mind, it's what keeps bands relevant.

I don't understand that.  Asking for and anticipating new music is a compliment.  It means you like the band.  There are plenty of bands out there I hope to never hear another note from.  And I'm sure there are many bands who wished people would ask them for new music.  I don't see it as pestering the band, I see it as cheering them on.

People, from what I've seen is Beta yells at people who start rumors about what they think or hear or she gets mad at people who act like there insiders, like they have some inside source and they know something and start spreading the BS around. I've seen her get mad at people for using derogatory language about the band and/or Axl on the new music subject. All these things I think she has a right to voice her opinion, she's just being a mama bear to the band. If she yells at you and you think your right then stand up and say so but everybody backs down because they know she's right. And yes, we should want new music from the band but demanding it or expecting something that's not realistic and being an asshole about it will get you....... well we know what will happen. nervous

I just think its laughable that the people take it as an insult or being disrespectful for wanting / asking for new material from Axl and the current roster of his band...

We all love going to the shows...but im sorry for wanting more than that

i know i know... we are not owed anything... but that doesnt mean we shouldnt want it

Axl has all these songs.... its his right and decision to release them....

but as a fan... i want him to release them....

i dont know why that would upset any member of management ... that their fans want the product....ha

It'd be awesome if they did one in Miami FL...my hometown! Or anywhere on the East Coast of Florida. I missed them last year due to longterm illness.  Huh Angry I'd love to see my first show EVER!

I live in Jacksonville and wanted to see them at the house of blues but I couldn't drive back to Jax at 3 in the morning.

We left Strugis at 3 in the morning and let me tell you they don't call them the black hills for nothing.  It was dark out there.  Good thing I was coming from a GNR concert.  I was still buzzing.

I hear ya there. I did a couple over night drives back to Detroit during the last GN'R tour. One was from Chicago which wasn't so bad because most of the highway is pretty populated plus I had a fellow user from gnrevolution with me for over half the trip.

The other was from Youngstown back to Detroit and I only had my fiancee with me in the car and she passed out pretty quickly. The drive from the far east side of Ohio back to Detroit at like 3 or 4 in the morning was very eerie!! The buzz from the concert carried me a good way, but I gotta tell ya, many sections of the highway looked like something straight out of a horror flick  hihi

I drove 4 hours back to Miami after the 2011 Orlando show..you could have done it!!

Both Orlando shows and both Miami shows were great. Vegas was amazing as well so i would love for them to do another residency somewhere on the east coast.

Love GNR road trips.  I still want to go to Red Rocks.  And you know where it is!  smoking  It's the principal of the thing.  It's democracy.  It's time to make a stand!

It would be interesting  to see if another country or city would get a residency next year in 2013.

For example London, Tokyo, New York, San Paulo/Rio or Sydney could be possible locations. I have always wanted to know the logistics of touring/merchandising for bands for turnover and operation costs. I would like to know how it worked out as a business model for GNR doing these Vegas Residency versus the US tour. Can`t be cheap for a band that size moving it stage set up and rigg over a large country.

Personally I hope they do both. If an album is Imminent I am sure another world tour is planned. If not 2013 could be good to do residencies and prepare and plan the next album.

Still holding out hope for a residency on Florida's east coast, as traveling for me is hella difficult (logistics for far travel in a wheelchair can be hell). I'd LOVE to see that first GnR concert I have heard is so magical :-)
