Well, it is finally over.  Fans worldwide got an oppurtunity to see Axl and the boys in a smaller venue, multiple times.   In addition, everyone had a great excuse to take some time out of their daily lives and had to wonderful Las Vegas.  I look back at the two shows I went to and just reflect on how much fun I had.  At the end of the day, that is really what it is all about.  I just wanted to create a thread to show support for a follow up residency.  I would be glad to return in 2013 for sure.  I think this is something special.  I also think it helps build the relationship of the fans and the band.  I.E. you say hi to them as everyone is wondering about the Hard Rock during the day.  Yes, this was something special and from my stand point, a huge success.  I just was to drum up interest for 2013!!!

I loved the residency! Soooo glad I finally got to hear TWAT twice when I went which made it worth it right there. Ovation Hall at the Revel in Atlantic City has been getting a lot of big acts there. Would love to see them play a handful of shows 3, or 4 there!

But overall so fortunate to see the band 4 times this year !!!!

I think AEG, Hard Rock, and GNR had a really successful residency, sounds like the band enjoyed the change of pace and the days off, but it must have been funny seeing band members in the casino, even if there were no Axl sightings.

there were definately Axl sightings...obviously not as many as the other members...seems like Dj practically lived at the bar/casino, which is awesome of him to hang out with the fans so often. But Axl definitely spent some time down there as well.

Just let me know when and where - I'll be there.  I've planned three trips this past year around going to see Guns!  I'm officially obsessed! yes   But - yeah this residency was by far the most fun.

It'd be awesome if they did one in Miami FL...my hometown! Or anywhere on the East Coast of Florida. I missed them last year due to longterm illness.  Huh Angry I'd love to see my first show EVER!

I would LOVE a GN'R Vegas Residency every year. Vegas is easily my favorite city on Earth and I try to get there at least once a year. Seeing my favorite band there this year was a trip!

When I got a chance to talk to Fernando last weekend, I asked that hopefully there's another residency down the road and he told me that New York, Brazil and Europe and interested in having one but who knows when it will happen. Either way I'll be at the shows when the time does come Cheesy

Oh yes, a residency in London, Paris or New York will do me just fine.  Grin

Good sign that it'll happen again, esp. with this going as well as it did.

Hopefully there's new music in the works next year.

My question too.  The guys were together for a month, in one place, any progress made towards new music?

I am not saying another word on that subject.  hihi

It occurs to me, after 3 weeks of Christmas music, we haven't had a new Christmas carol in a long time.  Maybe we can get DJ on that.
