Just wondering if there's been any talks of doing a Canadian tour in the next year? It's been 3 years now, so I'm hoping it's almost time for another one.

I saw them in early 2010 in Hamilton, and again in late 2011.....I won't bitch if they don't come back for a little while longer  rofl

Would be cool....but I like the idea of them going to untapped markets like India as well, to help boost album sales when the next one comes out.

I'd be down for that. Though I'd love to see the next major tour have some sort of music release with it. I wonder if they'd ever consider an iTunes exclusive, or just an EP, of some of the live covers plus studio versions and a couple rare tracks, just to hold fans over til the next full album?

They did Hamilton in 2011 and not Toronto (possibly due to the uncertainty of the NBA strike... and now we have an NHL lockout).

Seriously if we lose the NHL season Guns should consider a tour here in 2013 as you suddenly have a demographic that may have some crossover with more expendable income.

Also - Megadeth's last tour they played the GM Centre in Oshawa (as well as Hamilton) which is a good rock town; it's a smaller arena but big enough and could be a good option if for some reason they skip Toronto again.

If they ever do a summer jaunt they could consider Sarnia's Bayfest (Maiden did it last year, STP, KISS, and a lot of other bands have done it in the past).

Saskatoon show was great back in 2009 or 10 don't remember which.  Canada actually got lucky as we got the 2006 tour which many places did not get.  With that said I would love to see them come back especially with them opening up with more of a song mix then in either 2006 and 2010.  In 2006 it was a very cool tour with Helmut opening and then having Bubbles come on stage and Sing liquor and whores.

I will say for the Saskatoon show Axl was not only in fine form but crazy friendly to the crowd with a fair bit of stories ect.  Overall the best part about GnR for the past few years is how happy the band is playing together.

I flew to Toronto in 2010 from the UK to see GN'R, and it was one of the best experiences of my life. Love the canadians, and having Sebastian Bach as the opener was a welcomed bonus. GN'R do seem to enjoy touring there in the winter, but it seems unlikely to be this winter as there haven't been ANY rumours or anything yet.

And I believe the 2010 canadian run, was getting rumoured in November 2009 if I remember correctly... so we are at the point it should be getting heard of, if it was indeed on the cards again.  Smiley

I'm sure if there's any tour dates being added, we'll be hearing about them very soon.

Hopefully we start getting word of 2013 plans, like new music! Sounds like a video's coming.

Iam not from Saskatoon but its the closest place for me to see concerts. I live four hours north of Saskatoon. So everytime I go see a concert or fly to Vegas to see guns n roses it's a four hour drive for me, but that's fine by me

The more I think about it the more I think Guns could do another mini-tour and hit a ton of stops they didn't the last time out.

For example, they've played Hamilton twice in recent years, but you have Oshawa and Kitchener that both have concert-ready arenas that the band has never played (Megadeth/Motorhead did Oshawa early in 2012 on Gigantour and nearly sold the place out; The Aud in Kitchener holds about 8,000 for concerts and Billy Talent just announced a show there). They also didn't hit Toronto in 2011, opting for Hamilton instead. You're got Sarnia in the South, Sudbury in the North, and outside of Ontario, you've got spots like Victoria (Ozzy added them on one of his tours). Probably some other spots out west that I can't think of that haven't had shows.

I saw them at the ACC (toronto ) in 2006 and that was in November , I aslo saw them again in 2010 at JLC (london ontario , which is not called budweiser gardens ) seems to me they played smaller venues in the 2010 tour .
