Just because of the history of this release.
It should already be out and the cinema release was supposed to happen originally in Europe but was stopped by slash.

Same as always I suppose, nothing straight forward with anything to do with GNR these days.

The artwork does have the Universal logo on it.
So unless there's a really good reason not to release it outside the US I can't see why they wouldn't. Especially considering the popularity of the band in other parts of the world.

Yeah, it would be a shame if they dont release it in europe, or other corners of the world.

If this is the case where should i order it? Amazon?
And what are the chances for the dvd/bluray will work on my playstation 3 which is bought in finland?

Can't see the region coding image on the photo of the cover. It all depends if it's made to played all over the world or only in region A....

It's currently #1 in music videos and concerts: http://www.amazon.com/gp/bestsellers/movies-tv/2959141011/ref=sr_bs_1

I have ordered this from Amazon US and hopefully it does not have any bluray region coding which will stop me from viewing this here in the UK.

Saw it on the 14th, as stated by Cotis, No Better, Street of Dreams, Catcher, Motivation, Objectify, those were all cut in the theater, but are on the Bluray.

I believe only the Blu-ray has the 3D version.

Appetite For Democracy 3D: Live at the Hard Rock Casino - Las Vegas, will be available on Blu-ray?, featuring the complete concert film in both 3D and 2D plus an interactive 3D photo gallery, and standard DVD featuring the 2D version of the film. Both releases are mixed in 5.1 Surround Sound and feature bonus interviews with the band.

I don't see a reason either but then again its GNR, who knows what will happen. It would make sense to release it world wide because of popularity as you say.

Why is everything GNR release such a deal to get out, because of old members etc. or what??

No one ever knows.

Rock Fuel said over at MYGNR there was a problem with "former members", but did not elaborate.  They also took a shot at GNR's "brilliant management", but again, no elaboration.

Personally, and this will likely not be popular, I'm a common denominator guy most of the time.  As the issues mount and its just one thing after another, I tend to struggle with the theory that its always the other party's fault.  Unless GNR just has the worst luck in the history of the music business.

It's clear GNR didn't want this put out in the end but Rockfuel had spent too much money on it at that stage and fought hard for the release.
To be fair the flying piano was a bit ridiculous and Axl's voice improved a lot during the more recent residency so it would have been a stronger release.
Amazing that a GNR release is actually happening all the same

I tend to think all these things myself.  GNR themselves couldn't seem less interested in it.

Having attended a couple shows at both residencies, I will agree Axl is stronger this time around, but that doesn't mean he wasn't good the first time....

Haven't seen the DVD yet so who knows how it comes across there....?
