you might disagree with some of the things i think about how GNR conducts business, BUT I DO ALWAYS TRY TO BE FAIR , when they do a good job I say so , booking the golden gods awards being one that stands out

if slash or anybody else is being a prick about something i will say it

and if he is spitefully holding things up for something hes not entitled to.. then its fucked up..but nobody knows at this point ..certainly not volcano who spouts off on the guy on a daily basis

If Volcano believes that, it's more "credible" than the sources some have for them pointing their fingers. Meaning, no source other than personal reasons.

Well, one of those other sites we don't talk about is claiming they have confirmed with 2 sources that Slash is expressly holding out for more money.

To me, the issue will come down to whether he is coming in late asking for more than originally agreed to.  If that's the case, that is not on Team Brazil.

This is big news.

If true, Slash is exhibiting some of the same juvenile behavior Axl has over the years.  And Axl took a lot of shit over it too.  Slash, logic dictates, should take the same shit.

Just because I didn't specify to you what I saw posted or where, doesn't mean I have issues with posting sources and/or giving proper credit.

I didn't mention names because I'm not gonna single out one site or another because this kind of behavior is nothing new. It's not specific to one site. People come here, do something, go elsewhere to chat about what they did. It's not anything new. We just saw an example of this kind of behavior when that individual, who maybe is insecure about his/her sexuality, made the post. I have no doubt in my mind that the post was discussed on some other site. It's like kids at a playground. You run across to the other corner of the playground and then run back to your buddies at your own corner to tell them what you saw or did.

Just to be clear, I personally had no problem with that discussion yesterday.

I have never for one second doubted you read the other sites.  I was just having some fun with the fact you had claimed you didn't.  As should be evident by now, I joke around all the time.  Not everything needs to be so super serious as we discuss the coming and goings of a rock band.

I'm killing time at work here, like a lot of folks, I imagine.  We should be able to have a laugh.  Its a message board on the internet, not Thunderdome.

For the first time in forever, Axl appears to have the high ground on the guy.  Why undo that with some pissy rant?  The Warren Beatty thing was funny when you first hear it, but then after a few more listens, it dawns on you that Axl sounded like a 15 year old girl.

I kind of like that he's shelved the rants and just gets on with the show.

I think it's kinda clear....

Axl blocked him from releasing things in the past and using the songs for movies...and he don't like Axl...

So this is a way to say fuck you to him ...it's spiteful and childish, but not hard to understand ... They are both guilty of the same crap as far as I can see


I think in slash's head he is bitter that Axl hasn't ever tried to hear him out or meet him halfway in terms of some kind of truce
And in his mind he has nothing to lose by getting back at him here

I think the HOF thing pissed him off too...he has expressed disappointment it didn't work out... All spec on my part but that's how it looks


Fernando and his family would really be aces in my book if they can work this out peacefully and get this out to us fans
