If you announce something, promote it, and then weeks before the release you determine you don't have everything in order...is that a great advertisement for their services?

Is that an unfair question to be asked?   Seems odd, at least a little bit, no?

My problem with management has nothing to do with them saying things about fans and everything to do with..... for example-

1) The slap dash way tours are announced. Tickets going onsale for gigs a month before the date is not normal.
2) Poor communication.
3) Relying on Groundcontrol to run website/fan club rather than having a personal GNR team. Jarmo you'd be the man for this.
4) Getting involved in fan forum gossip. If they could just run a tighter ship through their official channels there would be no need.

1: This has been the case at least since 2006. So different managers - same situation. Some bands do prefer to take your money a year in advance and sit on the money... I know.
2: Better than in the past.
3: Thank you. 
4: At the end of the day, we're talking about people. Sometimes people post as their "private selves". Not as spokesperson for the band. Some fans forget this.

All i'm really saying is this kind of thing does damage to the integrity of THIS band.

It pisses me off when I see all this horrible shit in the comments box of any You Tube video or online news article about GN'R and all this does is further (rock) fuel all the misconceptions.

It seemed a perfect time to release it! Axl getting an award, South america tour & most importantly Vegas round 2.

It does make you wonder if there will ever be another album.

It must also damage the moral of band members. You see Richard & Dizzy having such a blast with Dead Dasies and being so open in communication about that band and their plans it must be hard to then go back to this kinda shit.

The irony here is seriously incredible.  Since you felt the need to call me out, for no reason, here's a little something for you...I find it rather amusing that you spend just as much time, if not, more, "whining" and tearing into those you feel are doing the very same, than those you so often accuse.  So much so, in fact, that you've gotten yourself a well earned reputation as little more than a self-important internet bully among GNR fans.  If it weren't for the differing opinions and spirited discussion that have taken place here as of late, this site would be an online ghost town with nothing but you, tumbleweeds, and maybe 3 or 4 posts a week.  Who knows?  Maybe that's how you'd prefer it at this point.  I honestly don't really care.  Either way, I feel sorry for you.

Feel proud of yourself when you're snapping photos of DJ Ashba.  You've sure earned it.

I just saw this. If this is true this is some bullshit. Why can't they let go. They are all doing they're own thing. Move on. Slash even released a live cd with him playing some GNR songs ..... I mean who cares. I don't know the facts but if the original members are holding this up, that's petty to me....... Sorry for the rant.
