it means an excellent sounding recording, yes! Sirius stream can be easily captured by many programs  beer

Damn, their contest includes a spa package.  I'm getting the neighbor to enter that.  He can go gamble and I'll be at the spa.  We'll both have a good time.  Cheesy  Will be a change for him, I think he's getting tired of the Grateful Dead channel.

I can record both shows on my Sirius Stilletto radio, but I have no idea how to share them, upload them, etc. I've tried before unsuccessfully. Sirius is supposed to have a program which allows you to access stored programs but it has never worked for me. If anyone has any ideas, I'd love to figure this out. Been trying for years.

I never used Sirius, but I guess the shows are stored somewhere on your device? It's not possible to export them? Maybe there's some info about this on Google. Maybe you need to try on a different computer/ system.

Yeah, it's weird.  I've never been able to figure it out.  I tried Sirius customer service and they were absolutely no help.  I can hook my radio up to my CPU with a USB cord and I can see the device, but I can't access anything from it.  The program from Sirius that I installed doesn't work properly.  I tried reinstalling it many times, but to no avail.  So basically the radio works properly in my car and as a portable device, but for whatever reason it doesn't seem to be compatible with any CPU I've tried it with.

I'll try and run a google search and see if I can come up with anything.  It is frustrating.  I tape The Howard Stern Show everyday and I'd love to just plug it in to my cpu and listen to it while I'm at home.  Instead I have to do all my listening in the car, and while I drive a lot for work, 15 hours a week adds up quick and is hard to stay on top of.

Is it indeed going to be soundboard?, or will it just be the radio station being given permission to transmit the sound they capture from the speakers?. I hope it is soundboard, as I really want to listen to a recent show with crystal clear sound.  drool

I originally thought this was for both shows this weekend, but after re-reading it looks like it's just tonight's show.  Do I have that right?


Edit -
I see what I did now.  I read the 2 separate times for Eastern and Pacific on different days and mistakenly thought that meant they'd be airing both shows.  Problem solved.

I'm going to set my radio to tape.  Have they been going on pretty consistently at a certain time and ending at a certain time?  I can tape up to 6 hours, but I doubt I'll be awake for the bulk of the show so I'm just wondering what time would be the best to tape.  11-3 perhaps?  Although I might as well tape a full 6 hours just in case they decide to do a marathon.  Any chance they go on before 11 though? Or at least, have they come close in the other shows?  I know literally anything is possible in the land of GNR.  peace

I can't imagine any radio station broadcasting some crap, which is not soundboard Huh

So, a credit card is required, therefore, it's a bit too complicated to listen to in Europe. Plus you would have to cancel your subscription over the phone. That means you'd really need a US credit card and address and so on.

Why are they broadcasting something that even money can't buy rant rant

You can at least in the US get a free 7 day trial, no billing info required. I did it.

I plan too. Already did test to see how it would work and it recorded just fine recording the audio from my soundcard with software on my computer.
