Was a great interview, Axl came across great, Jimmy did a really good job. Axl was very personable, witty, and seemed to enjoy it. I've read nothing but positive things. It's funny to read anybody trying to be negative on youtube and etc etc because they are trying to reach for anything and theres nothing negative anybody can really say. Great job.  beer

That was fun.

I don't always vote either.  And yeah sometimes the big issues are decided before you get there but there are always other issues like your firemen asking for something they need.  Go vote people, you too Axl.

I couldn't watch it last night because I had to be up early to go to work. However, I just saw the video now. Axl was funny as hell! Great interview!! He needs to do more of these.

Roping him into the political thing was extremely annoying.

I didn't consider it "roping in". He asked Axl if he was voting. Yes or no would have sufficed. Axl offered his opinion beyond that.

Elections are close, I didn't think that was an off the wall question to ask him. I think there might be some people surprised that he'd vote that way because he comes off like he'd be along the lines of Ted Nugent and Kid Rock politically.

Actually I wasn't surprised by his answer.  He gave me the impression that he would lean liberal especially since he supports stem cell research (I agree with).

He did seem embarrassed to say he never voted, and had a "go with the flow" attitude. I also think because most musicians are in unions, they tend to be Democrat voters.

This may sound corny, but the interview really warmed my heart.  There's something truly genuine about Axl that sets him apart from most everybody out there (star or non-star).
With Axl, there is no "schtick."  There is no "act."  Truly awesome stuff.

I love the Axl Rose on Kimmel.  So likeable and humble.  He made me smile and laugh.  I too don't think I will be voting for the president.  Axl was nice a great and the new band got a nice response when Axl mentioned them by name.   peace peace

I always thought he'd be more along the lines of not liking either one or maybe 3rd party. Until last night I have never heard Axl give any political opinion.

Maybe he can't vote.  Like maybe he's not a citizen.  We should get Trump on that.   Cheesy

And speaking of people who just have to keep taking jabs at you.  "What did I say to piss you off this time baby?"  Guess she didn't get her rubber biscuit.  hihi  Yeah you probably didn't get that but I was unaware there was people watching looking for a fight.  Bummer for them.

I remember Axl used to have a deep deep bass voice. Does he change it on purpose?

As for the responses to Axl's politics I find it relieving he's not out there preaching on who to vote for.. The fact that he stated he was leaning towards Obama really doesn't qualify as trying to persuade others. I recall back in the 90's Ross Perot temporarily dropped out and Axl stated now we have a race and dedicated DTJ to Bill Clinton and George Bush..now if Eddie Vedder and others could follow suit..

Good point - he definitely wasn't being preachy and even stated he was afraid of that question.

I was happy to see Axl getting out there again. He looked good and happy and in good spirits. I think Kimmel is great, but thought the interview was a little too cheesy and that he was not really prepared with any good questions. I am glad Kimmel stayed away from the old GNR questions, but I would have liked to hear some stories from the road from the last few years. There must be some great stories to tell, maybe talk a little bit more about the Vegas shows, talk about all the jewelry he wears, if he has a girlfriend, ever wants to have kids, etc. I felt Kimmel was stuck on the being late thing and was nervous to ask anything that may annoy Axl. I hope Axl had a good time and does more of these types of interviews, because his fans really want to see more of him. I would love to see him host and play Saturday Night Live one day.

That was a really fun interview, watched it a few times already.  The two of them really had pretty decent chemistry and it was a lot of fun to watch.  Absolutely blows away the "interview" Eddie Trunk did.
