I just love how Axl responded to Jimmy, he seemed so laid back and in control. I never got that feeling in regards to the Talking Metal interview, but this one Axl seemed to love every minute.

I think Eddie Trunk was too paranoid of saying something to piss him off, and Axl was able to tell that. Jimmy was far more laid-back and wasn't afraid of cracking jokes. This often leads to a much more relaxing environment for the interviewee (though it runs the risk of having people who just don't get it, and either clam up or straight up walk out).

It was terrific to see him laughing as he answered questions, especially about keeping the corn rows. Hopefully we will see some more interviews like this where he is laid back and relaxed, especially enjoyed that it wasn't all about music and we got to see more of his personality. He would have felt the love from the audience for sure. beer

Agreed! I think Eddie trunk and his guys were praising Axl and the band and scared to ask anything might piss Axl off.
Same on the 06 radio interview.Kimmel is the best host around. The things he was telling Shaq were hilarious  Smiley

Right on, right on, right on.

Nice job BBF and Axl! I couldn't be any happier with how that went! That'll be locked on my DVR for some time to come!  beer

How could you even compare Trunk and Kimmel?

Two different interviews for different targets...Trunk is mainly about music, Kimmel is mainly about nothing more than entertainment... beer

This is a nice funny interview, and it wasn't made at 5.30 am ...

So cool to see Axl happy n' enjoying the moment in a show that isn't made only to heavy metal/rock n' roll audiences. Its about time to people in general realize how cool he is. Great interview !! I want a burger!!!! Smiley !!

I think Axl was unprepared for the interview. He probably didn't practice..... They said he was sick, but, I just think he was still waking up from a nap.

I think the public perception of Axl would be much more favorable if he did interviews like this more often. The media paints such a negative picture of the guy, but during the rare times he is interviewed or makes an appearance somewhere, he always comes across as a very genuine, warm-hearted, fun-loving dude with a great personality and sense of humor.

If only I could get invited to one of Axl's Halloween parties!!     beer

Just watched the interview. VERY cool but way too short! Love that Ana gave me and my Illusion tattoo a shout out during her segment with Jimmy! Haha!

DAMMIT! Axl Rose and Tommy burgers! I should have quit my job and just driven down there for it! I love Tommy burgers! I've been eating there since I was little kid!

As for the interview, I loved the story of the Halloween tree. I've done a few similar things to other parents through the years ... Good to see Axl in such good spirits, as well as seeing Bumblefoot helping out the house band! Perfect end of the day for me!

I'm shocked and stunned you would say that Jarmo  Tongue Tongue

Was an entertaining interview. I'm sure the general public was shocked that the "evil" Axl Rose would hold a Halloween party for kids during the day. Just goes to show, don't just a book by it's media coverage.  ok
