Just watched it, great interview. I am going to have get a Halloween tree.
I wonder if he bought the burger truck or just rented it. Nice gesture.
And I am guessing that the audience was given tickets to a Vegas performance! Wow.
Overall, that was really great.

Agreed! I think Eddie trunk and his guys were praising Axl and the band and scared to ask anything might piss Axl off.
Same on the 06 radio interview.
Kimmel is the best host around.
The things he was telling Shaq were hilarious
Uhhhhh I don't know dude, Conan is hilarious as is Craig Ferguson (although Ferguson was funnier before he sobered up). But to be honest, I don't think Axl would have done well on a show like Conan or Ferguson where they are very witty and are really just wise asses more than anything else. Kimmel doesn't berate anyone like those guys do sometimes, but rather he just teases them.

Great interview! Axl looked great, was obviously having a good time. Really showed his personality. Glad he had fun. Kimmel definitely a good choice as far as which show to do. Some good questions, but still light-hearted. Loved the Halloween tree story (as did everyone else, it seems). I would love if Axl wrote an in depth autobiography someday. What a life he's led. Cool fuckin' guy, that's for sure!

It was a great and fun interview, I hope they can play at some point in time on any of the late night shows like the original band did on fox about 25 years ago.

That was fun!!!
Axl was gorgeous and charming as ever. (did Kimmel want Axl to kiss him when he said he wanted to be able to tell people he caught strep from Axl?)
Bumblefoot was funny and so cool that he played with the house band the entire show. (I'm surprised that it seemed that Kimmel never before saw a double-neck guitar like Ron used)
Only thing ... I think maybe Frank should legally change his name to Fe-rah-rah cause Axl got one serious mental block when it comes to saying the name Ferrer (I think he's only pronounced it correctly once in the entire time Frank's been in the band)

Roping him into the political thing was extremely annoying.

I didn't consider it "roping in". He asked Axl if he was voting. Yes or no would have sufficed. Axl offered his opinion beyond that.

Elections are close, I didn't think that was an off the wall question to ask him. I think there might be some people surprised that he'd vote that way because he comes off like he'd be along the lines of Ted Nugent and Kid Rock politically.

Perfect... everything about this interview was spot on, can't stop watching it. Also loved how Ron used his doubleneck on the show, instead of a random guitar that was just handed to him... think about it, that guitar has been all over the world with GN'R this last 2 years.
