Sorry for mass updates Ali Saw some comments about GN'R being late yesterday. I was there both days and didn't have an issue with when GN'R took the stage last night. For the record, tonight Guns took the stage 25 mins after Jack White finished his set, no Eddie Vedder opening. Axl struggled at times last night but tonight he killed it. Very cool to see Neil Young on stage with the boys. Loved Axl's comment that Neil was gonna join them and "Kick my ass". Can't wait to see them in Vegas on the 23rd and 24th. |

Everyone fucks up lyrics from time to time. He was referring to his voice, which is what most of the criticism has been about. Haven't heard anything from the second night, which by all accounts was far better, but his voice for most of the first night was pretty awful. Especially during Better. But it's kind of understandable if he was performing with strepthroat.
I do believe that performing with strepthroat is the fastest way to make sure you lose your voice completely and he probably should have cancelled to give it a chance to recuperate. But I also know what the reaction to cancelling would have been, and understand why he wouldn't have to put up with all of that again.
