Not that it really matters....But I see Jack White seems to be the act before Neil Young. Surely Guns N'Roses are the bigger act?Huh

Please tell me they are!

In 2012 I would say Jack White is probably the bigger draw, at least in the US. I know some of you hate to hear that.

I think at benefit concerts its no so much the usual festival pecking order like at Reading, etc.  Jack White, Neil Young, GnR - all huge names, arguments for them all at the top.  it could also come down to logistics of set/whose guesting with who - who knows.

It's a mouth-watering line-up whichever band plays first or last and everything in between  peace

What do you base that on?

I'm curious.

Anyway, doesn't matter. Everybody's there for a great cause. Smiley

I should have clarified that. A bigger draw amongst the under 30 crowd. But this benefit may be not be that, considering it's Neil Young. So who knows? I may be way off. But it doesn't matter, all for a good cause.

Also I didn't realize the set times were that short.

So you need facebook to watch the concert streamed. I think I might be the only one who doesn't do facebook. I just don't want to. I find comfort in it. I like not being plugged into that grid.

I don't have facebook anymore. But i'm fairly certain you can just watch this on the Ustream website. The facebook page just has the Ustream video embedded in it

you and me both. This could be the push to finally succumb to the mighty facebook. Any idea what time GNR might be playing? I'd like to get to bed at a somewhat decent hour, as I need to wake up eary Sunday to head to the Patriots game. As long as they're on and finished somewhere around midnight eastern (9 pm pacific), it should be good.  I could even stretch it another hour. Any idea on times? How long the show usually runs? If they're on before Jack White, will they be 3rd to last? Sorry for all the questions, just wondering.

I don't think you need facebook. I think it just directs you to their facebook page, as long as you log into your UStream account I think you should be fine.

You don't have to have a Facebook account. You will need to sign up for a ustream account though. You can watch it through the facebook address, or as Jarmo posted, directly through ustream. (BTW, hooked up my laptop to my big screen last night, with a VGA cable, PERFECT quality, can't believe it took me this long to finally do it....lol)

I've been to 20 or so concerts at that venue, and I've never seen a show go past 11pm pacific. Usually they end around 10:30, I think theres a strict 11pm curfew for the venue. Assuming Neil Young plays last, I don't see any reason GnR wouldn't be done by 10.

Thanks for the info.  That should work out nice enough for me to still get some much needed beauty sleep.  hihi  It's actually more like rest, for all day tailgating, drinking and eating my face off, watching football, standing, and yelling.  I need to be in tip top shape for such activities.  beer

Everyone needs to do it if for no other reason than the kids.  There are many great organizations out there that do great things for kids who really need help.  I know this doesn't have anything to do with GNR but here's a video about my daughter.  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AQKXhtXwGEE

If anyone is getting tickets last minute, it looks like they started selling some more of the lower level seating on Livenation! (still fairly far back in that level, though) So excited for tomorrow!

I couldn't find the scheduled time for GN'R, but it says the first concert starts at 4PM PST, so it would be around 1AM (Sunday morning) CET. I guess GN'R will play around 8PM PST or something like this? Hope we'll be able to see the recorded show on PPV too because I don't know if I'll stay up until 6AM lol.
