None taken, but what's stupid with bringing a bunch of fans together for a few days on a floating hotel listening to a band you love? Compare that to the time and money it would cost to go see them at a hockey rink, a few hours later and it's ringing in your ears, and that's it. That's a better concert experience compared to taking a vacation?

I think it's better for bands to do residencies than travel 12 cities that have hit and miss sales.  If they don't sell out, I wonder if the discount ticket places are going to have half off tix on GNR? I think residencies are fine, you get to see a favorite band more than once, and do other shit around town. Don't have to worry about being late for work the next day. People complain about the shows running late, it's a non issue in Vegas.
