That video is all over Twitter right now, accompanied by some extremely spiteful comments.

oddly positive spin on the tumble!

Quote
Once you get past all the glitz and glamour, rock stars are just like us. We eat, breathe, sleep ? and sometimes fall head-first on stage during music festivals.

While Guns N? Roses launched into ?Sweet Child O Mine? this past weekend at Frace?s Hellfest, frontman Axl Rose took a bit of a tumble trying to climb onto an elevated portion of the stage. But like the professional he is, Axl never missed a lyric, proving once again that nothing falls forever, even cold November rain.

Odd, all the video sources say the video is private.

Sorry Axl, I laughed.  Looked more like a trip than a tumble.  It's those curled up toes on the cowboy boots, time for them to go.  My opinion of course.

Which time did they go on? "on time" or at 23? Being a festival and all. I'm going tomorrow in Milan.

On time, at 23:30. GN'R had to wait until the previous band were done.

Just saw the clip of Axl falling. It's funny how many people criticize him. For as much running and movement as he does, you'd think you'd fall a lot more, you can count on one hand maybe at the times Axl fell, pretty impressive. How many times do people trip up when just walking ....

Yeah the show rocked!  The pics are great!  and I have listened to 5 or 6 songs so far.  PC was amazing

I like Twitter but when the outages happened earlier today it seemed to be around the same time that there were all the tabloids/gossipers overloading the system making "Axl Rose" be a trending topic.  oops

I wonder if the ghost of Farm Aid Steven Adler had something to do with this particular incident  Tongue

For as manically active as Axl is on stage, past and present, it's pretty amazing he doesn't fall more often...especially when he's running all around in boots most of the time.  This particular incident just seemed to be a simple misstep - something I see at least once a week here in NYC when people are simply walking up the stairs of the subway.  Fortunately for them they aren't one of the world's greatest rock stars and it isn't immediately uploaded on the internet followed by a bunch of "critics" doing more of a pile on than a pee wee football game.

Those boots are dangerous, he almost almost lost his balance several times while climbing the teleprompters when I saw Guns' back in November.
