That piece of red tape on W10 says Richard.

Calculated shipping for me would be almost $700.  Does that sound right?

Probabaly, depending on ur location

It's a drop ship/freight shipping.. From CA to MO for me it'll cost close to $400

I'm super exited already. Can't wait to see what else is for sale. Might have to sell some of my Guitar gear to get something.  rofl

Think we can get them to send it home with Richard and we could run over and pick it up?   hihi

You want one, Amy wants one and I want one.  I'll run Amy's up to Wisconsin but they have to get them to St Louis for this to work out.

I had no clue how much those things weight.  I think the one I was looking at is over 300 pounds.  Poor road crew.  Wonder how many of those they take with them.

Cases?

Just enough.  Wink

The whole idea is to not have too many cases if you can manage with less.

It's like traveling with luggage. Why have two bags if you can manage with just one.

Ask the seller if they will let you arrange your own pickup, then go and search out some local haulage firms.

There is always a cheaper option.

The seller did say they had a cheaper option.  Last time I checked the e-bay option had been disabled.

Still, I'm going to have to wait until they bring the truck load sale to me.  Cheesy

Don't you think some local band is just waiting until close to the end to pick those up?  They look in pretty good shape to me.  Would be kind of sad to see them retired so soon.

By the looks of the logos on the case they look to be from at least the 2002 world tour, maybe even 2001 shows.

The keyboard case even has a "CONART" sticker on it, which comes from Ash Hudson, Slash's brother.  Conart created the GN'R skull flag design and the drive-by shooting t-shirt back in early 1990's.

It is very cool to see the cases and I would love to have one to use as a coffee table or something.  Can't wait to see what else turns up!

Pretty sure the weight listed on the cases is when they are full.  I can't see empty flight cases nearing 300lbs!

Empty flight cases are generally very light in weight.

I would have thought that too.  Can't find where I saw the weight before so don't rule out I was wrong.  The freight thing is working again.

This is pretty cool. I love when a band does something like this. I could see placing bids on stage props and fx pedals but the one thing I would go all out for would be one of Richard's black '68 Les Paul Customs. I would dig deep with my credit card even if it hurt. I don't think it will happen but I can hope.

Oh man, me too.

A couple years ago when Robin put his stuff on eBay, I wanted that Wind Red Les Paul Custom SOOOOOOOO badly but I just couldn't afford it.

I know me too, this is very cool indeed that GN'R are doing this... I'm very tempted by some of the items myself. I would love to have a guitar that's been modded by a GN'R guitarist, and has been adjusted to play GN'R songs, with all the specifications etc... would love that.  smoking

I wonder what lucky person ended up getting that effects pedal, that Robin used to record the Chinese Democracy solo.  drool

Geez, the one I wanted has 16 bids, if it were a horse I'd be winning this race.  Grin
