Was an awesome day and the summer sun was a welcome bonus...

Me and a friend went to the city centre around mid-day, and went around a few bars trying to find fellow GN'R fans. Eventually we hooked up with Derby Greg, who we had a lengthy chat with, and shared GN'R stories (making me and my friend jealous of his trip to South America) hihi. Then Babydolls and Alan came and joined us, and they seemed like really genuine GN'R fans, which is always cool... ok (I'm the Finck fan, right?) Wink

The show was awesome and was very energetic and packed... I loved Chinese Democracy, Estranged and Civil War. There was a pretty rowdy bunch of people right by me, who was starting a mosh pit for every song... which is not so cool, for other people who want to pay attention to the band, and sing along to the songs. They were a group of about 10 people who were smashed out of their heads, and who should know better as they were all at least 30yrs old.

But a really solid and strong show by Guns, and 4tus was just amazing... so energetic and has great stamina.  Cool

Thank you GN'R for an amazing show, and also thank you the people who I met today in sunny Birmingham.  Wink
