After Axl thanked the crowd etc, when he was walking off did he collapse or pass out or did he trip over the step - whichever it was it didnt look funny coz he didnt move afterwards, people were laughing behind me, but i dunno if it was 'Im really embarrased so im not going to move' type of thing? He just didnt move, looked like he was knocked out.

Can anyone clear this up please?

Just got home, will give more thoughts in the morning but briefly...

- Axl definitely tripped backwards over something and was attended to by security staff who were looming over him. He definitely stayed down initially but I'm sure he'll be fine.

- Probably already been mentioned but Axl stopped the show during Jungle due to the crowd throwing stuff. Threatened to go home and the usual wanting to have fun line. IMO I think the crowd were ecstatic and not throwing things AT the band, but it's still dangerous I guess. Crowd behaved after that.

- Axl missed a verse during Chinese Democracy and apologised to his band mates after the song

- Most of the crowd stayed the full length of the gig. There was some booing around 11pm and that's a shame because crowd were fine until 10.45 ish.

- The sound was great, Axl's voice was phenomenal, he used it wisely and saved his chords during guitar-heavy segments. His range was more impressive than when I saw them in 2010, he seemed more experimental tonight.

- Crowd were pretty great I thought, very appreciate of the solo spots which isn't always the case. Not sure BBF's went down too well though. I thought it could have come earlier in the show.

- Fortus in particular seemed to be on fire, his solos were very fitting and powerful.

- New fireworks and string during Paradise was a nice extra touch.

- Axl referred to BBF as his 'guitar priest' at one point and also thanked the crowd for their warm response on numerous occasions (more so than normal I thought). He also thanked Thin Lizzy.

- Time to go to sleep. Looking forward to Manchester but need to recover. God knows how they all play/sing for 3 hours with so much fucking energy. What a night.

I'm sorry for me, that am not on the show... and if i went, would lose my job, but would not leave until Axl say "Good...fucking...night"

Axl did indeed fall over backwards over a step i think and stayed down wasnt pretty he had just thanked the crowd for coming out and said safe journey home.........

Wish we could have an update on that fall. I was there, It really wasnt nice to watch. It didnt look like he moved after he fell for a long time. Im not wanting to scare people but it wasnt nice. It didnt just look like a slip. An update would be cool to be honest. There was a lot of worried faces around me walking down the stairs. Couldnt stop to make sure as was being pushed down the stairs by people wanting to get out!!! Hope hes ok....Great show by the way. Wasnt full but people I talked to they were all highly positive of the show.
