I think Izzy isn't there because he doesn't want to be, not that the door is closed.  But that's an interesting thought.  Izzy could be on the writing team.  He might like that.

Izzy was offered a spot back in the band and on the tour back when this whole thing started.

He chose not to come back.  From the sounds of things, it was a financial disagreement but, either way, it was his choice.

If Izzy being a part of GnR is the deal breaker for someone...that tells me they are an Izzy fan, not a GnR fan.  And that's fair. People can like or not like what they want.

I don't think it's a deal breaker for most people.  And, at this point, I don't see anything changing any time in the near future.

Izzy s situation is unclear.
Neither Axl nor Izzy are clear about it.

They always do the opposite of what the fans want so I'm all in with the not in this lifetime tour cd. that's why they were in that oslo studio WHILE touring . I didn't want to say that, but it came to my mind after 1 sec i saw the picture. Get ready

I also would love to hear a real version of Crash Diet. I do wonder though if they ever played that live if the crowd would actually know this song im sure die hard fans would but casual fan base would probably think it was something new.

I'd rather have something fresh and new   . I don't think Axl "feels" that song anymore and the lyrics are light years away from his current style. If they didn't release it with all those cash cow things they have put out til now, i think it will never see the light

Axl & Wes Arkeen Wrote it so by default since its Axl its considered a GNR song. Regardless the demo version we here would have been a killer GNR tune if they had gotten the bands hands on it.
