Never liked cassettes, too annoying to find the tracks.  Much prefer CD's, more user friendly. beer

Imagine when we moved from tapes to CDs. Wow.... You could skip tracks. you could hit Shuffle and it would play random tracks on the CD! Amazing!

And then you realized CDs could get scratched and skip....  Undecided

Then you had cd repair kits that never worked  hihi

I didn't mind cassettes, I grew up with them and they did a job. Blank cassettes, forever great for recording the radio, and recording albums other people had purchased, and great for computer games. They have their place in history.

I had it, but it chewed up years ago  hihi I've still got both Illusions on tape. but I've not got alot of tapes left now but they are stored away

So if the whole tour for 2021 is postphoned/canceled. Do you think GnR has a plan be regarding how to release new music? Or will also that be delayed untill touring is back to normal, because, as we see, that can take a real long time. Could GnR be discussin other ways of promoting new material without a paralell tour?

I have always dreamd of a summer release. 👌

Maybe, but this is a "if" scenario.

To be honest, i dont see things beeing back to normal in a long time yet. There is still so much to do before we can get back to normal.

It all depends on what the band wants to do with the music. Is playing it live is part of the plan and using that as one way of promotion, something they want to do? If it is, then a tour makes sense. If it's not, then it could be released without a tour.

I don't think it's a matter of can they do something. It's more about what/how they want to do it. It's their music and if they don't wanna release it without having a way of playing it live, then that's their right.

But yeah, if at some point tours just keep getting postponed, will they reach a point where it's like "well, we've waited and waited and these tours keep getting postponed..."?

If I get the opportunity to go back in time, I'm going straight to my high school job in 1995, and without a word punching myself in the teeth. When 1995 me gets off the floor, I will say "Now that I have your attention... you are still waiting for an album with Axl, Slash, and Duff in 2021 I suggest you find a hobby or a new band"... but hang in there with the New England Patriots, that will pay off.. oh and here's a sports almanac.
