Meegan posted something on Instagram about Slash working on material with his solo band. So that leads to people thinking that he's done recording with GN'R, which means it's done...

Yeah, I had a feeling that might be the case. The usual 'insiders' and 'it's just what I've been told' type thing, we've come to know and avoid!

- Slash is back with his band because the GNR record is done and ready to go

- Slash is back with his band because nothing was going on in GNR land and he wanted to make more productive use of his time

Stop smiling about that.    There's those of us who have gone way beyond our ability to have one more fucking video conference.  I think they call it zoom fatigue.  Yeah we've gave ourselves a new mental health concern with that.

for what we "know" Axl had a lot of material and they worked on some, don't think it took a long time for Duff & Slash to rewrite bass & guitar parts and record them. even on, let's say 15 tracks. plus Slash is probably still not the kind of guy who takes years to write one song so they probably recorded some new spontaneous stuff Axl could write lyrics on.

So I suppose if it's the case Slash has now the time to work with Miles, meanwhile Axl can write and record his vocals on them.

the material should be ready but if they are waiting to release new music with a tour, it looks like it could be at least another year.

Based on nothing other than gut feeling and the touring schedule, I think we’re looking at 3rd or 4th quarter next year at the earliest. It is what it is.

Are you referring to Slash as a cat, or do you have a guitar playing cat? I saw a cat playing piano on Youtube, so I suppose it's not too far-fetched.
