That would be getting one over on us.  Cheesy  "We told you".  hihi

"The next chapter" sounds like a rework of "round one".

It should be.  We should expect to hear the songs people know and love.  A couple of new songs if they have them ready.  Pretty much the same set list show after show with a little tweaking here and there.  It's what touring bands do.  It's the restrictions they know they are stuck with if they want to keep drawing in large crowds and selling themselves to venues and promoters. (Despite what a handful of people say on the internet)

They will probably get away with the longer shows even though it's costly.  I think that's the one thing they insist upon that is completely for the band members, they get to play.  GNR never seems tired or willing to give up that stage or leave it for long.

We might but I doubt it due to a packed schedule, see some of those little shows.  Opportunities that just pop up along the way.

We may not have gotten that single we were hoping for today, but at least we can now watch that fucking Looney Tunes video whenever we want.  What a time to be a GNR fan.  hihi

Blaming the "changed landscape" of the music industry is such a crock of bullshit, and tap dances around the real issue (IMO, of course).

One hundred percent.  It's just sad that Slash is drinking the Kool Aid too with that type of talk. D-X once said these guys couldn't manage a Dairy Queen, and that always stuck with me.  Just incredible how absolutely useless management has been in regard to figuring out how to release new music.

I am sure Slash sees the same thing all the Chinese guitarists saw. Tons of songs and ideas and little interest in making a final push to officially release something. It is what it is.  Undecided

Poor Slash.  He'll learn soon enough.  Undecided

He didn't learn from 94-96 when they couldn't complete a follow up to UYI.

I'm sure he thought at this point, and after the successful tour, there's no way Axl would stonewall a GNR release again. Well, here we are...

I am not placing blame on anybody. It is quite a collective effort at this point.  hihi

Mind boggling.

Mind boggling.

I would say that the blame squarely lays on Axl and, to a lesser degree, Fernando's shoulders.  We all know that all roads end with Axl. So ultimately the buck stops there with whatever happens or, in this case, doesn't happen.  But it's Fernando's job to act as the middleman as manager and get Axl in the right headspace to produce and, get this, RELEASE new music.  On that front, he's obviously a complete failure.

Everyone else, and yes, including Slash and Duff, are probably all glorified clock punchers (albeit well-paid) and likely have little to do with what gets past the red tape.

What does Slash saying that they are unsure and trying to figure out how to release music in today’s world imply to you guys?  To me, it implies they are sorting this out and trying to come up with the most affective and profitable way to release new music.  Why must you assume that this could possibly mean no new music anytime soon?  How are those two connected?  They could literally develop a plan in a month or two.....or a day.   I think it’s early for all your negativity
