I'm probably adding feul to an unnecessary fire: The other name listed on the "Goodbye." entry (Jordan Patrick Freeman) is with ZOOM who are a video game company as far as delivery is concerned. They seem to also be offering some music via their platform. They also do classic game remastering. They seem to be dabbling in a bit of everything. If you check out their site there's a photo of Freeman backstage with Weiland and they're selling his album through a branded Amazon store. Why he'd be sharing a copyright on a song with Axl is the question. Hmm.. yes that is the question. Axl hasn't registered his writing credits in ASCAP. Could be some song that was scrapped. I think only published songs go to ASCAP since they collect royalties. If it's unpublished, or perhaps even if it was just something used in-game for a video game, it might not be in there. Technically someone could just e-mail the guy and ask, his email address is right on the copyright record. |

Since Ron is out of the band... do you think a new touring member (assuming there will be a replacement for Ron) will have to go in and "add" to older songs for the next record?
I would think if that was Axl's philosophy in the past with this scenario... that it would remain the same in the future.
