Is it part of the "For Dummies" series? Seriously, where is the market for books written by Slash's wife and Adler's mom? Who are the people buying these things? I haven't even gotten a chance to read Duff's book yet, never mind this nonsense.
To be honest, sometimes family members can have a story to tell. I just read the book by Joey Ramone's brother. Obviously he was there through his whole career until the end.... And he has his own career as well. /jarmo |

Mary's book is really good. Of course it was about her relationship with Scott, but also about her struggle with addiction and mental illness. I won't be buying Perla's book though. |

I also want to know who would buy this. Some people can make a living just by "being famous" or "being married to someone famous."
On a related note, if her story about being an immigrant/daughter of a drug lord is what she's banking on to be interesting to the general public, there are literally thousands of people who have the same story; most probably "worse" than Mrs. Hudson's. However, the only reason any publisher is putting this out is BECAUSE of who she is married to...

I would probably buy it just to see if it says Anything interesting about Slash that I have not heard yet. I am sure it has some good stories in there about some of the shit they have done. I am not saying is going to be good or bad but i expect it will be entertaining to me as a Slash fan. I would also buy Beta's book if she ever wrote one (although I doubt it) in case it reveals some cool shit on Axl or GnR that we never heard before.

Actually she didn't run it she worked for Heidi Fleiss who ran the infamous high-end escort service in LA. And they met at a gnr show in 93 and instantly clicked and Slash was unhappily married to Renee Suran. Him and Perla continued their friendship until getting married in 2001 |
