One of the best shows I've seen. First time I heard Gilby do "Won't Get Fooled Again" with the whole intro on guitar; way before Rockstar Supernova. Played Cheap Trick's Surrender too. Stefan Adika on Bass and I didn't catch who the drummer was but he spun his microphone in the same direction to move it out of the way when he wasn't singing and ended up unscrewing it from the mic stand and when into an unprompted drum solo juggling the mic as it fell.

Somewhere in the 1997/1999, Gilby played the Pomp Room in Sioux Falls, SD. The Beat Angels opened up for him(he produced their record) and Gilby was endorsing GMP guitars then.
Got my shirt from that show too.

browsed the site last night, very cool man.  I never realized how much Gilby used to tour!  I remember when I missed his show at the Stone Pony in Asbury Park, NJ.  I was annoyed at that.  I hope he comes back to NYC sooner than later!
