So I had the honor to meet Axl after the Fillmore show in Detroit. He was very gracious and signed my copy of "Live ?!*@ Like a Suicide". He was in no rush and was even concerned with what color marker to use on the record so it turned out as sharp as possible. Enjoy these pics from the experience...   --CASEY |

Thanks for sharing the photos and congrats on meeting him!
As a vintage hat wearer and collector, I love the majority of hats Axl wears on stage. I don't think I've seen him wear this one though yet (on stage) - it is absolutely magnificent. I wonder where he gets his hat ribbons from - they seem custom made.

Also, I loved that he apologized for the cancellation at philly a few years back. I think it shows something most of us already knew, that Axl's not the monster that the press sometimes tries to make him out to be.
Anyway, you didn't happen to run by the idea of some guy on a GNR forum named Slashsbaconpit being hired to produce the next album, did you?
