Very positive preview.Some stuff about RNRHF and then they said how there were lot of ceptic people before 2010 BElgrade show,but after the show there were no negative review and Guns n Roses show in Arena was one of the best ever in SErbia.

I'm just saying it would be easier for me, if they'd put another show in Zagreb, and if not, I'll visit Novi Sad almost certainly   
was planning on visiting Exit Fest for quite some time already, ... and now with Guns playing there ...

Yeah, that sounds logical. But I was told by a very reliable source a couple of weeks ago that GN'R will be confirmed for Croatia this summer. Arena Zagreb (the venue they played at in 2010) only has a Sting show booked for June so yeah there is space.

As for other venues, there's Maksimir Stadium (Madonna has a show there on the 11th of June) and Hipodrom (RHCP have a show there but in late August). So there is definitely room for GN'R, but even if it doesn't happen there are a few shows in the region so it's not the end of the world. 

One thing's for sure though, there's no point in speculating. We should wait for a official announcement.

Well they are heading west (to Spain) after Novi Sad, so maybe they can make a short stop. As far as equipment transport and other stuff related to that, it's not a big deal.

In '10 they did go to Serbia first and then Croatia, but like you said the schedule is a bit tight so who knows. The two things why I'm optimistic are - my source and the fact they are doing quite a few shows in the region.

Don't worry you can be my guest in Serbia...on the other hand before Exit show we have to kick ass to tehno and dance fans,and tell them "get out from fan pit.this is our show"

From yesterday's Serbian newspaper article:

?We will play for three hours at Exit?
 
Legendary rock band Guns N? Roses will be appearing at this summer?s Exit music festival in Novi Sad. The band?s keyboardist and one of the American group?s original members, Dizzy Reed, has told Blic the gig on 15 July will last as much as three hours and revealed the band would never get bored of playing Guns N? Roses? golden hits such as November Rain and Sweet Child Of Mine.

This year you are playing at Exit Festival. Do you know anything about the event?

- I really don?t know a lot about the festival itself, but I am honestly looking forward to playing there and to another chance to play ahead of the Serbian crowd.

So you remember your previous show in Serbia?
 
- Oh, yes, I remember it well, it was totally amazing. The people really took to our gig.

What are your fans going to be treated to this time round?

- We will be playing some old stuff, but also some new songs we played before in Belgrade. There will also be some cool surprises. Anyway, we?ve got three hours of excellent music ready.

Do you get bored from playing old hit songs like November Rain?

- It is simply part of our job and I don?t think about it that way, at all. It?s up to us to play whatever the fans want from us; adrenalin gets us going and everything is great in the end. I think it is absurd that a band refuses to play something just because they are bored of it.

It seems classic rock bands in the mould of GNR, The Rolling Stones or AC/DC are now few and far between?

- Music has changed a lot in the past decades. There are no big labels any more who push big rock bands and invest in them. Now there is a multitude of petty, small bands. People want to listen to something like Lady Gaga and today there are no bands like the Stones or U2, who are still going strong and touring.

Do you get tired from constant travelling?

- Yes, to be honest I do, and we are not getting any younger, either. But this is how we make our living.

Have you ever considered straying away from making music ? say, writing an autobiography or selling GNR memorabilia or living off copyright?

- It may sound like a clich?, but it?s never been an option for me to be in anything other than this. I would love to be an archaeologist, but I think it?s too late for that now.

What countries attract you in that respect?

- Turkey is interesting and further down South-West.

What would be your message to Guns N? Roses fans in Serbia who will be coming to Exit Festival to watch you?

- I?ll just tell them to be there and not miss the best rock concert of the year.

- The members today are going to stay the same in the next 20 years and all of those who want to listen to the old Guns N? Roses, they will have to come up with a time capsule and go 20 years in the past. This band is what it is at the moment and cannot be what it once was 20 years ago.

So, there's a little over a month from EXIT festival, and I must say that you can get feel of it here in Novi Sad, Serbia!
Later, I'll be adding some more information about festival.

One more thing, considering that I'm in the EXIT Fest organization (head of the entrance, to be precise),
I cannot describe to all of you how excited I am about this year's festival.
