I agree with above - it's too short of a clip to really tell anything.  I look forward to the release of the album.  All I can say, so far, is great cover art and album name.

The station just announced, Slash will be co-hosting the second hour of the show, so he'll be on in 15 minutes or so.

Slash is back. One of the best solos we have heard from him in a while with great riffing.

Yeah it's pretty cool. The opening riff at 20 seconds in, has that classic Slash tone, that no-one but him can produce. Myles sounds cool, and the chorus has grown on me. Nice tasty little Slash solo in there too.
It's not the greatest thing Slash has put out, but it's got some balls, and it'll be nice to hear on the radio instead of Nickelback and alike.

If this is the most 'radio friendly' track on there, I'm definitely looking forward to hearing more. ok

Pretty weak effort to be honest, maybe it'll grow on me.
I'm hoping this is just the mandatory radio friendly first single Undecided

sounds dated and cheesy
and this singer has definitely the irritating voice of the decade.

the solo is ok

At first listen...
Not bad, not great.

Music is cool but a bit safe sounding.
Hoping Myles has more to offer in the lyrical department on the rest of the record.

Good lyricists are certainly a dying breed.

It's about what you'd expect from Slash at this point.  Good mashup of Snakepit (circa 2000) type verses and VR choruses/riffs.  I like it.

But I love the swing-set..

Sounds very forgettable to me. Extremely safe sounding. Lyrics and riffs do not break any new ground. Sounds like VR lite. And for the record I loved the last slash album.

I agree with most of the comments, good solo, but song as a whole is way too generick.

i'm not a huge Myles fan, i didn't like Star light at all but i did like Back from Cali,  i hope this song isn't represenative of the whole album, cheesy and dated is a little harsh but not too off the mark. i'm sure theres something better, hopfully a bunch more.

My biggest beef is with the drummer, its way too straight sounding no groove, Slash's biggest fault in my eyes is that over time the drummers hes chosen have gotten worse and worse (maybe not technically but feel wise for the songs hes making) Adler had the best groove to go with Slash, I like certain things hes done with Sorum Contraband was good sorum on Its five O'clock somewhere wasn't that bad, I give him a pass on UYI as the songs were already written without him. But Josh Freese on the last album was very bland (Dave Grohl on Watch this was AWESOME that is one of the best songs slash ever did)

ok just heard the whole song... initial impression: Myles does not sound good on this track  no

Do NOT like the chorus at all, as some one else said it actually does sound like Nickelback!  But I like the opening riff to the song, honestly reminds me of a riff I'd hear from Slayer and Slash's solo is great.  I actually would say I love the solo.  The lyrics leave something to be desired.

It's an ok song, it's not bad. I have no idea why people to expect anything ground breaking anymore from any bands. There is no such thing as "original" music anymore. Just listen to anything on the radio, everything sounds the same.   beer

It's good, I guess. I like this deeper voice Myles is using, hope it's on more songs.

I gave this song a listen, and I have to say that the beginning chords are awesome. And I thought that the song was going to be something I would want to listen to regularly, but I was wrong. After the intro, we go into a standard and generic sounding rock song, which could have been done by anyone.

And I've come to appreciate Myles, at least he does a good job doing what he does with Slash, and you can tell he puts his heart into everything. But this song, is just too simple and it seems like no passion was put into making it the best it can be.

It's certainly not on the same level as By The Sword, Starlight and Ghost...

I have listened to the new VH album, while it's cool and kicks ass it's still not ground breaking. It's better than most of the other VH albums tho.
